My mother moved into the Prince of Wales Manor in June 2018. We initially met with Monica VanDam who provided super details and information on the Prince of Wales and its services. As in any transition it was difficult for my mother for a while, but the staff helped out. The service at Prince of Wales is beyond exceptional! The employees are attentive, and care for the residents. I am a very attentive son who pops into to see my mom and visit regularly. I have attended many events and had meals there also. The level of service from the medical, housekeeping and culinary staff is awesome. The receptionists are amazing. They always have a smile on their face and willing to help you with any issues you have. The management team address any concerns promptly and are true professionals. I would highly recommend this retirement home to anyone looking for a home for their mother or father.

I have been a resident at Revera Prince of Wales since February 2018. After visiting several residences in the Ottawa region, my family and I finally chose this one. The warm welcome I received from the administrative staff was one of the factors in my decision. I would like to extend my appreciation to the entire staff for their kindness and professionalism. The variety of activities (social games, movies, live entertainment, etc.) that the residence provides makes my stay all the more enjoyable.

My mother and my cousin were both at Prince Of Wales for about 7 years. There were a few changes of ownership over that time and I believe the care and service declined with each change. Initially the staff and facility was run extremely well which is what attracted us there. The food, care, and activities were very good and my mother and cousin both really enjoyed living there, but this has now declined. There has been a lot of staff turnover during the last year which has resulted in a reduction in the level and consistency of care. The staff seem to try hard but I don't know if they are overworked or under-trained. The cleaning of the room was spotty as we had to request extra cleaning several times recently. I would recommend it for retirement living at the current time but not assisted living or memory care.

The service at Prince of Wales is beyond exceptional! The employees are attentive, well educated, and care for the residents as if they are their own parent or loved one. The level of service from the medical, housekeeping and culinary staff is above and beyond. They are approachable, and genuinely care about the residents. There is always an exciting activity going on or an outing into the community. The food is delicious and all made in house. The management team address any concerns promptly and are true professionals. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a home for their mother or father.
