Recently my husband had major surgery and when released from the hospital on short notice, My Place Home Care took charge and arranged for the necessary medical aids to be delivered quickly, as well as providing a home care worker and a physiotherapist . We were impressed with the professional manner and efficiency of Mr. Saha and the contact info he provided to us for any other areas where we might need assistance in future. We would recommend them to other families needing assistance.

I met with the owner of My Place Home Care, Kumar Saha, when I was looking for extra care for my mother who is 98 years old. He spent a lot of time finding out about my mother’s needs, providing information and making suggestions. I was impressed with his knowledge and understanding of the situation. He introduced my mother and I to Barb, the personal support worker that he felt would be best suited for her. Barb became invaluable as a few weeks later my mother became ill while I was out of the country. Barb accompanied my mother to the hospital where she was admitted and she stayed the night with her until the next morning. I was so thankful for her dedication and genuine concern for my mother’s well-being. Over the next few weeks, Barb and other PSWs, provided the care and comfort that my mother needed during that time. Kumar was in constant communication with me to ensure that we had the services required and that everything went smoothly (which it did). The service and the level of care my mother received was exceptional and went above and beyond my expectations. My Place Home Care is committed and dedicated and I would highly recommend them.

After an unfortunate incident, my mother required fulltime care. For several weeks I had the pleasure of dealing with Kumar Saha the owner of My Place Home Care and his very capable staff of PSW's ( Personal Support Workers ). What could have been a very stressful time became very manageable. Kumar stayed in constant contact with me at all times to confirm what services I required. I found his support workers prompt, knowledgeable, polite, courteous and above all compassionate. Several of Kumar's support workers went above and beyond to make sure that my mother was being well taken care of and I have nothing but the highest regards for his entire staff. I would not hesitate to recommend My Place Home Care should you have the need for the services they offer.

Almost daily I read of the horror stories that are happening to our seniors in our very own communities. Absolutely outrageous and sickening. The stories that make the news headlines are the worst but we tend to not hear about the continuous day-to-day issues due to lack of support available. In many long term care facilities, there simply isn't enough staff to care for our loved ones. Government cutbacks and underfunding just don't go far enough. What a relief it is to know that My Place Home Care exists. Talk to Kumar, the owner of My Place Homecare. He is passionate about this business and the people he is helping. It is obvious. I can't think of anyone I would rather have coordinating the welfare of my parents when I'm not available.
