I had an appointment on Oct 18. Dr Copeland was extremely rude and refused to listen to my symptoms and concerns. I have EDS which cause all sorts of medical maladies. I have had hives for 85 days waiting for this appointment. The Dr suggested it may be bed bugs. I was appalled. My husband has no bug bites. I have never had bedbugs in my life. He ordered expensive blood tests on a lot of items I have already been tested for. Which I had told him, if he had listened. On 11/13 I called to check on results. They are in. Nurse called me back. You are negative. Keep follow up. “What follow up”. I was placed on hold. Someone picked up the phone and told me a nurse picked it up by mistake. Stated she could help me. Gave her my name and date of birth “I do not show you in the system. Are you sure you called the right place? They called me. I ca not place my life in the hands of such a mismanaged, rude, and irresponsible facility. The Staff and Doctors are very arrogant and unprofessional.

Went to see Doctor Fichandler around October 10th! Took about a week because they were so concerned about not taking Medicarei to my medical problem. I had a tooth removed that the roots were in my sinus cavity! He thought time would heal it and did not even X-ray or scan the area, nor did he write a prescription for antibiotics. I went back for my second visit, on November 7th, Doctor Fichandler said I could lose my sense of smell, lose vision of right eye and die from infection. With this new sense of urgency because he finally xrayed me. He called to schedule surgery and came back and did, “first available November 29th,” I left and called UT Hospital in Houston , MemoriaI Herman. They saw me today and I have surgery scheduled with Doctor Citaldi a world Class surgeon, Graduated From John Hopkins, and than went to Yale to specialize. Doctor Citaldi is the Chairmen of ENT at Memorial Herman a teaching hospital. John Hopkins is in the top 5 medical schools while Dr. Fichandler went to the university of East Virginia which isn’t in the to 50 medical schools. The only thing dr Fichandler did that was right was convince me not to do any surgery with an ENT in Amarillo.

Dr Stroud is very good at what he does. Both Dr and staff are personable and professional.

Dr. Fichandler has been great with me as I have dealt with bleeding nose and with vertigo. Both problems were quickly solved. Dr. Fichandler and his staff are friendly, efficient and professional. I highly recommend.
