We took our truck here for a quote on some repairs in early December. We were satisfied with the quote and during the holidays we popped in and made an appointment for the repair for the New Year. It was agreed upon that they would need the vehicle for up to 5 days, a Monday to Friday. On the Monday morning of the appointment, my husband dropped of the truck, took the keys in and gave them to the employee and let her know the truck was outside. He was then kindly offered a ride which he refused. On Wednesday he received a call from Thomas Motors (where we have purchased our vehicles) asking him why his truck was parked at the Northumberland Collision Centre. Someone at the Collision centre noticed that a truck had been parked there for several days and no one seemed to know why. (Despite a quote, a walk in appointment made AND personally dropping the keys off the morning of the scheduled appointment) They tracked him down through the VIN number. My husband called Northumberland Collision Centre to see what was happening with the truck. Apparently there was an oversight on their end with their paperwork. The receptionist apologized to him and offered to reschedule. At this point we had already committed to several days without a vehicle and had made arrangements for the 5 days (this was day 3). He said if there was a way for them to have it done by Friday then we would leave it as is and come back Friday. Apparently this was not a priority for them as they were not willing to accommodate us for their mistake. No offer of any compensation or customer service here at Northumberland Collision. Overall, a very disappointing experience here at Northumberland Collision Centre.
