Disappointed

I stopped in because I had a nail that was falling off. I had been a frequent customer to Kelly’s for quite some time, but had taken some time off from getting my nails done. I received a gc to another place, so I used it and had them done again. This place was a bit far out, so when my nail was coming off, I decided to stop and have Kelly’s fix it. The owner was rude to me when he found out it wasn’t their work. He told the nail many times over to “just glue it, don’t fix it”, in front of other customers. I fully intended to pay to have it fixed, was not given an option. I didn’t even get a chance to explain why I had them done elsewhere, or why I chose to come in now. I was definitely planning on getting them redone after the holiday weekend at Kelly’s, but not now. I felt very embarrassed andunwelcomed.

So happy!

I have had to go to a few places for my nail care due to extremely brittle nails. Kelly's is the first place that has taken the most care, pride and best work where I haven't yet had to return to have a nail (or two, or three) fixed within a week. Or ever. Great work, fair price. Super happy!

I love my nails. My nail artist was very patient and kind. Great conversation about Ann Arbor and Detroit. Wish I wouldn’t got his name to recommend him to family in the area. Great at shape, ombré, suggestions, and no pressure in upgrades. Felt like a friend doing my nails truly truly. I’m not from the area and purely went on rating and photos. So here is one for the travelers I wouldn’t recommend taking kids here. Kids I took are 10 & 11 For my cousin- blue nail polish- the nail technician did six coats on one finger nail and made it very thick, because the nail tech didn’t want to take off the blue nail polish after changing it to a darker one. And the finish product was sloppy. My cousin had blue nail polish splattered around her nails. So no clean up after her manicure. This is the same technician that was complaining about my daughter wanting a soak off instead of a drill to take her polish off. This technician specifically was lazy in her work. My daughter- brown hello kitty. She is very shy and timid with new people doing her nails. The first nail tech (mentioned previously), complained about doing a soak off instead of drill to remove old color. The man was very kind for the most part. There are also texture imperfections on my daughter’s nails before we left. Nail artists and techs are hands on and can see clearly of imperfections and spots that need cleaned up. I didn’t post the pictures of all the imperfections because at the end of the day the girls loved them. I just want other people to understand the quality to price point they are receiving and giving out. As for my personally experience I will 100% come back if I’m in the area and need my nails done.

My daughter and I absolutely love Kelly's Nails! We have been regular customers since I found them in March. I have had a service done by nearly every nail artist there, and everyone always does an amazing job. My daughter loves designs, and Tessa always hooks her up! Read: If you like something a certain way or notice an imperfection, just tell them and they will fix it no problem. You can even go back up to a week if something is wrong, which they make well known with signs and this speaks volumes for their great customer service! They are all kind and this business is incredibly clean, so I definitely recommend!

Clean salon , easy check in for your appointments and super friendly! I tried 3 different salons and finally found mine here. Lena is awesome. The shape is always on point. No bumpy and crooked Nails. Just perfect.

My daughter and I were excited to make an appointment and finally come to this place. We got deluxe pedicures and I was supposed to get a manicure. The guy that did my pedicure did a good job. However the lady that did my daughter's pedicure (Tessa- according to my receipt) spent less than 20 mins on a deluxe pedicure, rushed through, didn't massage, and barely treated her feet. Then no one came over to do my manicure. Don't come to this place. You can get much better service for the same price or less, elsewhere.

I’ve been going to Kelly’s Nails and Spa for over a year. Tessa is an amazing nail tech and I highly recommend her. I visit her every 2 weeks. The other techs all do nice work too and everyone is very friendly. You can make appointments and don’t have to just go in and wait like other places. Visit Kelly’s today!
