Close to everything yet quit. The Beach is large and not over crowded that’s the best part

Perfect place, the service is just the best of all! Showers are cleaned every morning around 10, lots of washers and dryers 2$ each. Public kitchen available, showers are not paid ones, that's freaking the best!
Be careful it closes at 23h30, so arrive earlier to get your campground, they then give you a pass so you can move in and out easily at any hours.

Basic camping, litle expansive for what it is. No 240V 50A to charge electric car. There is a mini river beach that goes deep realy fast, so not for young child. Also there is a broken metal structure for child, it is rusted and has cutting edge, so litle bit dangerous.

BEWARE THE BUGS! This might have been a time of year thing, but they were unbearable, and my wife is an entomologist. Stay at South Branch Pond instead. It's a beautiful setting on the pond and the bugs were way better. Quiet and pretty campground, but ruined by swarms of mosquitoes and flies.

This campground is far from anywhere - its possibly worth a trip to climb Maine highest peak with 360 views for miles. The campground itself is overpriced, understaffed and without even fresh water, but quite unique. They Don't much hide their dislike for outsiders but are generally incompetent and almost never seen in the park thats more that a quarter the size of RI.
