I'll be going back to do more exploring of the area during the summer months. Excellent place for beach walking all year round.

The view is amazing from this place. Very calm and quiet.

Great for families with kids

The owners were very courteous and helpful going out of their way to help us with a small repair to our trailer while staying there.We were touring the East Coast and used this site as headquarters for a few days while we visited the highlights within a 2 hour radius.Our site had a perfect view of the harbour and the campgrounds and comfort station were immaculate.We have already recommended this campground to our travel friends.

This is a very relaxing, peaceful camp ground. Just opened this year, Staff was very warm hearted, showing myself the best of Nova Scotia hospitality. There is one shower available it is free. They are building a new building to accommodate more showers. They have trailer hoom ups also ctent camping along the rivers edge. I found my tent along the rivers edge to be so calming. There is amazing fishing along the river. This park is sitting mins away from a historic settlement built in the mid 1700. I will definitely be back if I ever get back to the east coast. Again thanks Jimmy for the wonderful hospitality that ypu and your loving wife showed me On my stay. god bless..

One of the most beautiful beaches on the Island.

Great campground! Clean bathroom/shower, lots of hot water. Grounds well maintained Friendly staff 10/10 experience, will be back.

my wife and I go to this campground a lot ,Dale and his staff are very friendly and will go out of there way to help you in any way.the people in there are friendly also.we like the way that you can stay up at the fire and listen to music (not load)and no one bothers you .people come and talk to you at our site and welcomes you into there site as well .Dale always tries to get me the site I want .I will always keep going back.

Well I was nervous at first bringing Rosko but I had so many good things about Camp Bow Wow. Rosko's first visit was short because he was a bit scared. The second was better, so was the third visit. Now when I bring him to Camp he doesn't want to leave when I pick him up. The Camp is clean, the staff is friendly and Rosko loves them.
