It is one of our favourite places to visit and looks different every time. Wildflowers are everywhere. Deer graze along the rivet, which you can float down. Depending on the time of day, the sun casts shadows on the hoodoos giving them a different look throughout the day. It's just a wonderful place to visit for the day and to camp.

Amazing park for individuals and families. You will learn more than you dreamed about dinosaurs and other prehistoric life while camping in a cottonwood grove in the middle of beautiful badlands. Hikes and guided tours available along with a very nice museum showcasing the local fossils. Park staff very knowledgeable.

I must be ordering wrong....I go through the drive through, order an ice cap with a shot of espresso, pay for my ice cap with a shot of espresso, yet nine times out of ten... There's no espresso...I even double check with the staff to confirm that they added the espresso, and they always inform me that it's in there, yet, there's no espresso....🤔

We came in on a Monday of a long weekend and lots of "local" RVs left around 3pm leaving the place wide open for others. Max 30 amp service. Some sites just had a regular 110 outlet. Looked like nice tenting area. I didn't check the washroom. The sites are not that level but it is a nice quiet underused campground. Pay exact cash in a provided envelope after you choose your site and drop it in the lock box, on the honour system. Small local restaurant within walking distance.
