Camp

Although it has been six years since I attended the camp, I can still remember it like it was yesterday. We always had something to do like arts and crafts, hiking, singing songs around a campfire, and games that involved the entire camp working together. Some of my favourite childhood memories come from Camp Alexo. If I didn't live 2,479.8 miles away, I would probably be spending my summer in the counsler training program. Camp Alexo is a great camp that I highly recommend for any adventurous young ones.

Genuine and friendly staff that ensured I was comfortable and safe. They came through often to check on everyone and make sure all was well. The campsites are pretty close together though and the street lamps very very bright. Other than that the facilities are well kept and the sites are very clean. Good and inexpensive way to stay in Red Deer.

I used to come here for camp when I was a teenager, and have wonderful memories. I have come now a couple of times in the past decade as an adult and appreciate the magnificent beauty of the area that I don't remember noticing so much as a teen. The staff that run this campground are some of the most gracious, generous, and selfless people I have ever met. They go above and beyond to facilitate and accommodate the camps/reunions/events that gather here, while being diligent to maintain safety and a positive experience. Above all that, it would be difficult for a person to spend some time here and not come away with a sense that they have felt the presence of God.

Great atmosphere and the coaches are amazing. They make it their mission to get to know you and your goals and help you in everyway possible to achieve them.

This is not Kaiser, It is the cook John worked with up in the pink mountain area at one of our locations. John You are what you said...sub par,your idea of cooking steams from kraft...all pre-made product.you have zero work ethic,and had nothing but complaints during your entire stay with us. you came aboard saying you could bake ...in fact you could not. I feel for you rather poor review, I have been employed by Big Sky for 5 months and have nothing but good things to say, I have been treated with nothing but respect. and feel like a part of a growing family, I can see myself growing greatly as a chef, and as a person. again John I wish you a great deal of luck and success with whatever future work you may come across. We had a great time camping out there for a week. The grounds are very well maintained and had permanent firepiys at each camp ground. There was a functional out house and extremely nice paths to walk in around the camp sites.

Always welcoming! Kids and grandkids have all had great experiences here and keep coming back! Counselors are well prepared/ trained and Godly leaders. Staff all oitch in where ever theyre needed.. experts at making. Camping experiences valuable for life!
