I went on the mid day raft with my Dad. It took a couple hours. The crew at Alpine rafting were great. Adam was our guide. I will always remember that experience . Charging hard at the bow of the raft thrugh white water. Amazing.

Shower was scary looking. Fair amount of hwy noise. Older place and a bit expensive, in my opinion. But they did have wood for sale and the fire ban was off, which was great.

The staff seemed undertrained. Had to ask for ketchup twice and my to-go order of chicken noodle soup did not come with a spoon, so had to go back in and ask for it. There’s a bigger Tim Hortons down the road.

Nice small campsite with a small waterfront to chill at during the day. No clean water access as far as I can tell though so make sure to bring that. The camp sites are a bit rocky but nothing to complain about with an ok sleeping pad or an air mattress.

Very cheap RV spot located on a golf course! David in the pro shop was extremely helpful and told us about walking trails, things to do and made us feel very welcome. Food and drink at the golf club was lovely with local brewery on tap. No facility for sani dump but no problem as sani dump available at the petrol station in Golden! Would definitely recommend.
