Camp

My family and I have been going to Rock Island every year since 2004. Every year we create wonderful memories. Dave and Mellisa are wonderful hosts, the fishing can be great, and the scenery is one of a kind. I also have a "guys only" trip every June. I would highly recommend visiting them whether you are with your family or a group of friends. You will have a great time.

8 months in at Strength Camp and my results are AMAZING! Jake will support you in crushing your total health goals, mind/body/soul. I've lost weight, inches and become the strongest I've ever been..not just physically but mentally as well. Super fun and challenging work out with modifications if needed, no gymtimidation at all, everyone is supportive. Jake will support you in being the best version of yourself!

Comfortable enough for overnight. Has many full-timers who appear to be living in park which may be why host presence is minimal. Bathrooms are located in area furthest from tenting area which makes for a long morning walk. Bathrooms are old but functional.

I can think of no reason, why this camping season, this place could ever be forgot!

I was going for Fly Fishing Lodge in British Columbia, the trip was amazing and I spent my lots of time with the fisheads. The guides of “Caverhilllodge” had vast knowledge and experience in fly fishing. We had 2 20+ fish days with the largest being 23in+.I would recommend them to anyone.

The best family friendly place! We have been coming here for 17 years and absolutely love it.

Basic sites in a mobile home park. Sparse facilities and amenities.

Meadow Lake is one of the best fishing camps I've ever been to. The food is phenomenal, the fishing is excellent, and the hosts treat you like family. Francesco and Uli are two of the nicest people you'll meet, and Uli's cooking is more than anyone could have expected - I'd go back for her apple fritters alone. There are smaller lakes with proportionately smaller fish that are near guaranteed bites, and then more challenging lakes for experienced anglers who want a chance at catching the big one, all within walking distance. If you love fishing, this is the place to go.

It has a warm family centered feel. Great place to go and relax.

Friendly staff and clean cabins. Park is great for kids with a playground, pool, river access, and bike rentals. Restrooms on the west side are clean and it’s nice having individual private shower stalls. Very affordable for what you get.

Great place, super friendly and helpful staff. New, clean restrooms!!! Real grass!!! Easy walk to town.

good camp

Great hike. Bugs were incredibly bad, but hey! Its nature! View at top of the mountain was breathtaking. Nice lake there as well.
