Been camping here since I was a kid. Always lovely, but watch out for poison ivy, tons here! Stay on pathways and campsite and you'll be fine...

Our new favorite campground. Beaches are beautiful. The sites are big. Lots of tall trees around your site so privacy is decent. Will def be going back.

Wonderful park.Janice is great! Lovely river, docks and lake. The firewood was stocked, there are washrooms with showers, great campsites and nice trails to hike on. Overall had a great time and would recommend coming here. Very reasonably priced and close to a store if you need anything. If you need a great wilderness getawa, Kings Portage lived up to its name. Thanks!

Been going for over 15 years. Love it at the lake! Great group of regulars. If tenting the "circle" is a nice spot! Right by the beach and a good group of regulars that are friendly!

Fiddle park

Great quiet campground on Georgian Bay. Small and quiet but friendly staff and easy going environment. Pretty cost friendly too.

We arrived shortly after our daughter, our 2 granddaughters and their great grandmother. Unbeknownst to us, we surpassed the quota they considered a family. Four individuals seems to be the number that is deemed a family unit. Seems ridiculous that a number is given to define a family. There was plenty of room in a cottage that sleeps 6 for us. There would be a $10 a day fee for the extra individuals. Our daughter was given verbal confirmation that we would not be charged this fee. However, this was not observed by the owners. After various forms of discussion and agreeing to pay the $10 a day surcharge for 3 adult members of our family, we were informed that our 4 week rental would be terminated after the first week. This was mind blowing. As for the cottage itself: I did not expect the Taj Mahal but I was expecting a clean cottage. The cottage was old and very dated. Bathroom had mold. There were spider webs along the windows and the paneling was detaching from the studs.

Love this place! This is where my family, my parents and siblings have all been going for the past almost 10 years. The water is nice. They do a lot of activities for the children and for families here. There is a awesome balance in this park. You can come out with your children and family and not have to worry about drunken turds everywhere doing crazy stuff. You can also come out and have drinks and bbq with friends while enjoying the live bands or playing horseshoes or volleyball. Don't get me wrong, there's lots of adult fun going on! It's just kept to a respectable level. It's all about water, sun, fun & awesome memories here at Lakeside whether you're with the kids or grandkids or are just wanting to relax and enjoy the outdoors on your own or with a group of friends. I truly do love this park.
