Camp

Full service site was a freshly mowed field, long grass standing in clumps. The power connection box was torn from the post and had the while in use cover broken off ,the sewer connection was broken off and jammed full of broken pieces. If we had not paid ahead of time I would have rather parked in a Walmart or Home Hardware parking lot. Not to forget the staff here was extremely rude and almost hostile when I asked for the washroom code.

Beautiful campsite but beware if you have a large group because the sites are a little small. Clean bathrooms but bring your own hand soap because none is provided.

Great location pool is nice a little cool. Bath rooms clean but old.Nice people.

We were greeted by a very friendly Jamie at the Pender location. He walked us through the process and made sure we knew everything we needed to know. He gave us good recommendations for seal watching, which turned out to be fantastic. I would recommend this rental to anyone visiting the coast. Thanks Jamie!

A great group camp site and amazing trails to the watering hole for swimming.

It's relaxing

-Beautiful camp site, right by the beach. -Communal fire pits meant that the park was clean and not smokey. Plus that way we actually met new people. -Clean washrooms and showers.

Nice secluded sites, good location close to town. Coleen was super helpful, made you feel right at home.

The next best thing to a trip to Rivendell.

My family had a great time. My first time on a horse. Had two kids (11, 12) and they both had a blast.

It's family run. Not Provincial owned.

I'd like to leave this a one star review so less people will want to stay there, because the biggest problem with the campground is that it's almost impossible to get a spot in the summer! It's a beautiful oasis minutes from town but with the feel of real wilderness; there are showers and some flush toilets (although it's still a campsite so don't expect luxury- but it's certainly not bad either). There are various sizes of spots, but we were able to fit three cars plus a tent (one car left early). It is a bit pricy nowadays but so are most campsites.

I'm sitting here at Kokanee Bay Fishing Resort enjoying my last night by the fire pit. This has been a great fishing trip to start off our summer of 2018. I joined the old boys who have been visiting Puntzi Lake for years after hearing so much about it. The land scape is so different from the west coast mountains that surround my little town of Pemberton. You can see miles of open sky and rolling hills which are scarred from recent forest fires. It's been a few years since the flames steamrolled through this area. The new growth is fighting back and people are rebuilding what they lost. From talking with the owners you can feel the passion and love they hold for this special place. It is my first time visiting Allan and Tammie on their property but won't be the last. Fishing is fishing. Anyone who fishes as much as I do understands that it's more about the experience, the stories shared, and new tails that emerge from the gathering of great friend around the fishing hole. But with that said, fishing was still spectacular for early season Kokanee and Rainbow Trout. We enjoyed a fresh fish feast every night! As the water temperatures come up with the summer days ahead, the fishing will just get better. I look forward to a return visit perhaps with my fly rod in hand a little later in the season. Kokanee Bay Fishing Resort checked off lots of boxes for me. -friendly - hardworking owners - clean - great RV sites- cabins for rent - boat rentals - laundry - showers - great fishing. Thank you Allan and Tammie for your hospitality!

We had such a great experience with Cam guiding us kayaking around Halfmoon Bay for the sunset and evening. Highly recommend!
