Camp

The camp is good and the main camp is all connected together by corridors, which is nice. The food was good the last time I was there (Winter 2012-2013), but there have been times in the past where it was a little underwhelming. I liked staying in B-Pod because two rooms share a single bathroom/shower and you don't have a deal with communal bathrooms. My only real gripe is that WiFi internet access through the camp is really expensive. Thankfully there is now cellular service at the camp, so you can get internet that way.

You may have read that playing has been officially banned here. But at least it's BC, so there are plenty of safe injection sites around. They haven't taken all our fun away! What a life! Please note, there has been a recent uptick in public laughter heard around Laughing Pond. At no point in time is laughing tolerated in and around the vicinity of Laughing Pond. Thank you.

It's family run. Not Provincial owned.

Was a sleepless night due to drug addicts there. Alcoholics all around us. Not kid friendly for sure with those type of people camping there. Pictures are not like the campsite washrooms at all. Don't recommend this campsite at all!

Large campsites, beautiful scenery and the river is amazing. We will be back!

I attended GIFTS in the summer of 2014 as a first step into my filmmaking career. My experience with the staff, volunteers, and mentors was excellent. As a complete newcomer to filmmaking, GIFTS was a positive and creative learning environment to make my first short-film. The program is hands on and fosters both creative and technical development. Galiano Island is an inspiring destination and I would recommend the experience to any aspiring filmmaker.

This is a wonderful camp to relax and enjoy the company of family and friends. Great activities and recreation for all of the kids and teens.

Beautiful marine life all over the beaches. I encountered many fish starfish and crabs while walking along the shore.

Owners and manager are awesome people. The park is well maintained has a large playground for kids, laundry room and shower. Easy access off of hi-way

Park is well maintained. Clean facilities, quality hookups, some year round sites.

It's beautiful. The water is nice. We stayed at #17, it was very private.

We love taking the dogs down in the off season, and just hanging out and enjoying the scenery in the summer.

Great place to visit and go fishing.
