Best Carpet Cleaners around. No need to go anywhere else!

(Back in October )it was my first time doing any dry cleaning , the lady at the front desk knew what questions to ask and even called me after i left to tell me that there were holes in one of the garments i brought in just to see if i wanted it fixed. The price seemed fair especially because it was a rush order which was done on time, the hem on my dress was loose and was fixed by them for free ( i didn't ask for this service and they didnt charge me).

I'm a little late-2 months. We contacted 5 companies, Gutter Doctor was one of the first to respond. James responded, checked our house, provided a quote. We decided to go with Gutter Doctor. James also advised that it could be 2-3 weeks before the installation would take place. Our project wasn't a big one and unexpectedly Gutter Doctor was able to respond an install our eavetrough much earlier than the 2-3 week wait. It was only a couple of days from the initial quote. I forget his name Kef? but he was super professional, very nice, genuine, polite, very respectful, and did an amazing and efficient job. The entire experience was impressive and the cost was very decent. Our new eavestrough looks great. Very pleased. Thank you Gutter Doctor.

Went to pick up my dress which was I was supposed to pay $16 for and the lady started talking about how I was misquoted for my dress and the lady who originally took my order made a mistake. So now because of the first lady’s mistake she was going to charge me $25 but it really was a $32 dress. When I told her that it’s not my fault so I wasn’t going to pay the extra and would only pay the original price she LOST IT. Cussing at me and saying what difference would $5 make and saying that there was always problems with new customers and just being so incredibly rude I could not believe it. She ended up charging me the $16 and cussing the whole while she was ringing me up, I was absolutely shocked that a paying customer would be treated this way. If an employee makes a mistake that is your problem not mine, talk to your employee don’t get mad at me. Don’t go here for customer service. As someone who works in customer service I was absolutely appalled to be treated this way.

Always quite expensive to wash an dry but still enjoy the quite time

They alter your clothes while cleaning and simply deny they did that, just because they think their stupid staff are reliable. The worst and rudest business I have ever seen. I was their customer since 2016 but I won’t go back there again.

I have used Dalhousie Fine Drycleaners for many years and have always received great customer service even accommodating a last minute trip last year that would have left me in a pickle if I couldn’t have had the clothes cleaned! Their shirt service is top notch as well as all other services offered! This place is where I trust with my valued dryclean only clothes. After I heard they do work with Ethos (a downtown wedding dress boutique), I knew I was in the right place! I mean if they can clean many of thousands of dollars in Bridal wear and have for many years I would say they are more than capable!! Thx everyone at Dalhousie 😉

Dropped off a blazer to get dry cleaned on the 25th, they said it was ready to pick up on the 28th. Came in on the 31st and it was nowhere to be found. The only employee in store was apparently new and when we asked to contact the owners, we were told we’d have to wait as they are in out of country and busy. How do you lose a blazer? What kind of a business owner hires a new employee to work on their own and then leaves the country? Would NOT recommend

I brought my husband-to-be's dress shirt and pants here for dry cleaning and they did a terrible job! Both the shirt and pants look like they were only pressed - not cleaned at all. It is so disappointing especially since he is to wear these items at our wedding! And to top it all off, despite mentioning the lack of cleaning and pointing out the areas that were marked up, they still charged us the full amount. I will not be returning to Barker's and would recommend the same to you
