It's a great place to go when the banks are closed and I need to cash a check. Also the service is fast and very friendly. They also offer Western Union services, but I personally have never needed to use them. Anyone who has been sending money through Western Union while I was there seemed pleased with the efficiency of the staff and they seemed to get it done very fast. I was surprised at all the different things I could get there. From long distance phone cards to online currency for online purchases to money orders and pay as you go cell phone cards. They even offer personal tax returns with same day cash back. All in all this is a great place for cashing checks and you get great service too.

Colin has been absolutely fantastic! Knows his stuff. I appreciate his help. Will never go anywhere else to do my taxes. I have complicated taxes. H&R block is a joke!

3 star for only one lady work there who has wonderful behaviour. Dont want to say anithing about the rest.

My wife and I hired Doreen Clarke to produce a power of attorney document as my mother-in-law’s health was in rapid decline. As her longtime lawyer and friend, Ms Clarke encouraged us to do so, in the event that there was a disagreement concerning mother-in-law’s health. Her health did decline, to the point where she requires long-term care in a care home. The document that Ms Clarke produced turned out to be null and void. When I attempted to speak with her about it, she was dismissive and spoke over me. She even hung up on me. Twice. I’ve never been spoken to in that way by a so-called professional in my life. I can’t speak to the other lawyers at this firm but I would question their judgment for having someone like Doreen Clarke in their employ.

Never used it myself

Through my work I've dealt with countless lawyers throughout Saskatchewan. Shawn is exceptional at his profession and a pleasure to work with. I've dealt with other legal firms in Yorkton and trust me; you can skip them and go straight to the Patenaude office.

We arrived at 5:00 PM on a Saturday hoping to access Yorkton Tourism, but there was already a sign up saying that it had closed for the day. Closing time was 5:00. Which was understandable, except there was no sign of a car or anyone inside, suggesting that they had actually taken off early. Oh well, at least there was a photo op outside with the faces cut out of the farmer & wife billboard.
