A good place to learn to dance salsa, bachata and other latin dances! Good facility that includes comfortable seating, free public wifi and places to get work done in between or after classes. Awesome Friday parties too!

I have been dancing at progressive for about four years! I love this studio so much. The teachers are all so kind and sweet. I have made so many amazing friends throughout my years as a dancer at Progressive. All of the teachers try to make us all come together as one and make new friends. This studio is super safe so do not believe it is not because of a bad review. None of those bad reviews are true. It is all lies to get you to not come to Progressive. I am telling this studio is amazing. I have made so many amazing friends I never thought I would have. I would definitely recommend this dance studio. You make many amazing friends and you will have the time of your life.

An amazing dance studio with amazing instructors, I definitely recommend backstage!

This place is a little pricy, but it's totally worth it if you can swing it. Cat Austin is an amazing and inspiring teacher, who transformed us into people who can waltz! I am uncoordinated, and so was concerned that these lessons would be confusing or frustrating. But Cat explained and demonstrated everything in a super clear and easy way, and sent us off feeling confident and awesome.

This past year was my 3 year old daughter's first time taking ballet. Miss Christina is amazing!!! The kids love her and she is so patient and understanding. My daughter loved to dance before attending Central Park Dance and does more so now. She is always asking how many days until her next class. My daughter likes to pretend to be Miss Christina at home and "teaches" her brother how to dance. We are looking forward to summer camp with Miss Christina next week!

The studio has a pleasant, positive vibe. The instructors are knowledgeable and fun. We had a great experience there.

Wonderful intro salsa class taught by an incredible woman from the Baila Society - half footwork and half partner dancing. Has made me more comfortable going to Latin dance clubs/bars across the city.

Until today, I would have given BDC a 5. Great instructors & class choices BUT the desk staff and info when you call SUCKS. As a professional performer, my time matters, as does everyone's - I called last night to see if I needed to sign up in advance for a certain class & was told NO. I arrived way early today anyway - after calling AGAIN today to see about advance sign ups - only to be told I was too far down the wait list to get in. (Not like I came late!) My round trip will be over 4 hours of travel time + travel costs - totally wasted. VERY disrespectful. I had posted positive stuff about BDC on my social media & encouraged others to go - I won't be rushing to do that again!! UPDATE: BDC management did follow up to apologize & address my concern, which I really appreciate - so adjusting my review.

The salsa course teaches the basic skills very very good.

This place is so much fun. When they don't have us dancing, they have us laughing. Love how they have so many instructors present in the beginner class, regardless of your level of coordination they make it easy to keep up with the pace of the rest of the class.
