Dance Studio

Overall, I think this place seems okay. This past winter, my toddler had a ballet class and tap class right after. We had a nice ballet teacher. Dark brown hair...I think her name was...Laura? Very kind with the kids. Gentle and encouraging. The tap dance teacher, tall, dark, and lean...I think his name was...Savon? Or something similar. He was not so nice. I should've known since another mom had spoken about him about how her own kid was afraid of him. I kind of just brushed it off because I wanted to give him a chance. Well... It didn't take long for him to offend me. He asked me in front of the whole class (parents and kids) if my quiet, observant daughter "talks". That was rude. He could've asked me privately. It's kind of rude to ask a question like that and talk about a child in third person when they can hear you. Anyway, right after that, we missed class (both ballet and tap) for two weeks because I was sick one week and my toddler the next. The week after being sick, we finally made it back to Laurelhurst and as I'm sitting there, hanging out waiting for my toddler's ballet class to finish, he comes in and walks pass me, smirking directly at me and scoffing to boot. Why? Seriously why? Maybe he thought we dropped his class on purpose? Either way, I didn't feel comfortable staying for his class after so we left. Not a safe space for me when he's there.

It's rare to have a dance teacher who is simultaneously fun to learn from, loves to dance, and is a truly excellent teacher. Sarah is all of that and more. I've danced for over a decade and she's the finest teacher I've yet had. She has deep knowledge, has mastered multiple dance styles, and she's especially good at making dance easy for the beginner. She took me from ignorant to dancing a passable intermediate salsa in 3 hours. I highly and enthusiastically recommend her.

Frida was great. This experience was totally outside my comfort zone and she did an amazing job. My wife and I will for sure be back to learn more!

My daughters have been going to CVDA for two years now and we are so happy. CVDA is a family and it's a privilege to be a part of it. My girls always leave smiling and have grown immensely in their dance skills. They look forward to dance each week. Kristen is incredible. She is always making sure that everything is running as smoothly as possible, she's always available to talk through things with parents. She and all of her staff have such a wonderful, positive attitude about what they do. My youngest was very shy and not willing to cooperate very well when she first started but Miss Courtney stuck with her and she has blossomed. I'm so happy to have found CVDA. WE LOVE YOU ALL!!

We love how much all of the instructors love their students. So many classes to choose from, and the first class is free to try! Our boys love the hip hop and tumbling, and our daughter loves her ballet and tumbling! Thanks Elite!

everyday is a good day.

All three of our kids(2 sons and 1 daughter) have taken classes at Studio West through the years. Our experience with this studio has always been a 5 star experience. Jennifer runs a professional and caring business and employs top notch dance instructors. Our daughter would call the studio her second home and family. If I could I would give this studio 10 stars for how our experience has been working with this business.

We have been apart of QC Dance for almost 20 years now. We have always enjoyed being apart of this family. We have made so many friends and lasting relationships even with the Director/Owner. They have really been expanding their programs to offer many different opportunities for dancers/families. We are looking forward to our daughter finishing out her career in dance next year with 16 years at QCD. We wouldn’t want to be anywhere else! I highly recommend this studio to others.

Raddatz Dance West St. Paul truly is a family oriented dance studio. My father and his siblings grew up dancing at the studio and loved their experiences there. When my father and my mother were married, they returned to the studio to take classes together. They enrolled each of their children in dance classes at the studio and we all loved it! I stayed at the studio throughout high school and was hired as one of the studio instructors. I have never enjoyed a job as much as I enjoy teaching classes at Raddatz Dance! The music choices are family friendly as are the costumes and choreography. The instructors believe that every child should feel proud of what they learn and that perfection is not as important as having fun, loving dance, and feeling confident and happy!

For the past 10 years, Elite has been my second home. The teachers have inspired me and pushed me to be the best version of myself. If you want to dance in a place that is positive, nurturing, and motivating, then I highly recommend Elite.
