Love this dance school! Great friendly people both instructors and students. Wonderful non competitive environment. Dancing for joy says it all, kids and adults alike enjoy dancing here! The shows are optional and are well produced. The kids adore performing on the"big stage" at the beautiful Mount baker theater. Love it!

Cindy Branigan (Mrs. B) was an awesome instructor for the Little Bear Feet dance class. Our daughter had a wonderful time...hope Mrs B teaches more toddler classes soon!

Top place to learn ballroom and social dance.in a fun and easy group setting. Dances change up frequently so you can learn several dances over two or three months, then go over them again and learn more. Next to private instruction, this is the place to go. Everyone is helpful, positive, and fun. Volunteer instructors keep it simple and clear. Definitely worth going to for the 5.00 drop in (or dance season membership is almost half the cost). The Dance Studio has been teaching students for 35 years in Whatcom County. We had 3 students audition and were accepted in Jeoffrey Ballet this summer, 2013. We have traveled to Australia 5 different times performing, once to Japan and this summer 8 students are traveling to Finland to perform. Besides the Spring Performance every year at the Mt. Baker Theatre, Brittany Setter (owner/director), has written a Christmas Program - 'Saving Christmas Town' which is performed in December, 4-5 productions at Bellingham High School. A great ballet based studio where students take tap, hip hop, jazz, musical theater, adagio, pointe and are well rounded in their dance experiences. Thousands of children have passed thru our studio over the years and many have gone on to professional dance companies. The Dance Studio offers the Best Dance Experience in Bellingham.

We switched here from another dance school 2 years ago and LOVE it. They foster a great balance between seriousness and fun. They have been very supportive and encouraging for my dancers, and continue help my pre-teen daughter reach her goals where other dance school could not. The quality of performances is very good. The music & costumes are age appropriate and tasteful while still being modern and fun. And although recital time is always crazy I find such to be significantly more enjoyable than in our previous school for both my dancers and me (as a volunteer). My only disappointments are that there is no variety for pre-school classes and they still have not been able to resolve (or help resolve) an e-mail issue for those of us who cannot receive them for some reason.

We have been at Allegro for 6 years and can't say enough good things about this studio. It's professional, safe, friendly and fun. The teachers care about each and every student and the level of excellence is unsurpassed. I would recommend this studio to everyone near and far. We think it is the best dance studio in the Pacific Northwest and a top contender for the whole U.S.

My girl is a new beginner, and loves the school (Abbotsford). It's really the only activity that my daughter has tried (she is 7), that she isnt getting tired of and that she is looking forward to going another year. Michelle is amazing. Very supportive teachers and parents. We will return again next year.

There is NO WHERE ELSE to dance! Big floor, best food, nicest people and the price is pretty low for what you get. Yah, there's cheaper dances, that's OK if you like 50 year old music and small cramped floors and only dance a few different dances. I like Maggies dances too but if I give these dances a 10 out of 10, I'd give Maggie an 8.5-9, and everything else a 5.
