Latin and ballroom dance studio. Private and group lessons, plus practice party every other Friday. Jean Guy et al make this a friendly and enjoyable place to develop ones dance skills.

A one star-review of a local business needs an explanation, so here it is: I signed my 3-year old up for 'Pre-ballet' classes at Dance Elite in Milton. This was her first dance class and our first time with a child in dance. After paying the initial registration fee, and buying her dance clothes we thought we were ready to start. That's where our dismay began. After the first few lessons, we learned that there's a costume for a recital that needs to be purchased. Also, later on they tell us there will be tickets to this recital that are $30 each and even our 1 year-old requires a ticket. There will be pictures (for purchase of course) and no pictures or video allowed at the recital. So what begins as a $200 expense, is now well over $400! Classes are 30 minutes long and are 'taught' by a teacher and two 14 year-old (roughly) assistants. The 14 year-olds simply show the kids what to do, but don't actually correct them if they want to spin in circles or sit on the ground all class. Very little 'teaching' actually happens. Beyond the quality of instruction, obviously my overall issue is the excessive 'money grab' that the costume, recital, pictures, etc are. It's obvious that there is a significant mark-up, and significant undisclosed costs that should be communicated to parents ahead of time. If swimming lessons were $200 to sign up.. and "oh by the way.. it'll be $200 more dollars" when you show up at the pool... the Town would get an earful.. and thus this is my earful to Dance Elite...be transparent, stop piling on costs that are obviously outrageous (30$ for a recital ticket.. it costs less for world-famous bands at the Molson Amphitheatre) Parents Beware!!

Our daughter LOVES The Dance Shoppe - I'm sure you will too. We have been going there for 5 years now and have only the best things to say about the owners and staff. They are friendly and professional and have the best programs and prices and payment options. They have it all from recreational to competitive to formal ballet programs, and more ... all easy to enroll in person or on-line. The facilities are very impressive with 5 large studios, wide hallways, benches, viewing windows, video displays, kitchenette, sitting area, and plenty of parking.

We have been at Dancers Burlington for two years and I have nothing but positive things to say. The staff is very friendly, everything runs timely and professional, and the instruction is phenomenal. The facility is always kept nice and there is plenty of places to park.

Kerry and her staff are still my friends and i will never forget them. I never should have moved because there is only one special pace in my heart and Georgetown dance company has that place.I benefited form them and I strongly hope that other dancers will join the studio .It's worth it. I am an ex-member. they will never give up on your sons or daughters. they helped me to believe that dreams come true. this is where dreams come true I love the studio so much

Best pole dancing studio around! Great atmosphere with amazing instructors that use their craft to empower and make you strong and fit! If you keep thinking, "I could never lift myself!", after your sessions, you'll pride yourself in seeing otherwise.
