Dance Studio

My daughter started dancing at Knapp 4 years ago, at age 2 and 1/2. The first few weeks were met with tears...now I can't get her to leave when class is over! All the teachers are extremely nice, so is the owner Mrs. Knapp she always greets you with a smile and is very understanding. I have been around other dance schools, what I love most about Knapp is that they are truly here to have fun while teaching dance. There is no pressure of solo's and none of that CRAZY "dance mom" syndrome! 😀

Traditional Irish dance!

My older daughter has danced at LaFave for the past twelve years, and my younger daughter has been dancing there for five. Both of them love their classes, and in particular, the approach to teaching that Ms. Stacey takes. She is very supportive and kind, respecting all levels of ability, while giving the dancers a strong foundation in the basics. She also makes sure they have fun in class! The end-of-year recital is always a highlight and really shows how the kids have progressed over the year. The atmosphere is not competitive or high-pressure; there is flexibility and support for whatever level of interest the student has - though there are competition teams and advanced classes, including Cecchetti certification, for those who are interested. I highly recommend LaFave!!

Amazed at everything about this facility! Impressed by the staff, their friendliness, how well they help with the children, amazing child to staff ratio. Clean facility, spacious, updated.
