Want to give a hearty recommendation to Maynard Woodworking. Herb is a licensed general contractor and custom built for me the most gorgeous bookcases. They're huge to cover an entire wall. No fake wood -- don't waste his time or your's. :) He's also doing more projects in my new house (old house, but new to me). He delivers when he says he will, he doesn't do the contractor dance of shifting clients and truly loves what he does and it shows in the quality. My nextdoor neighbor was so impressed with his work that she's hired him for projects she wasn't comfortable in hiring other people. He's super-imaginative too. I asked how can this work better? Boom! Solution. And his pricing is very fair especially considering the quality.

Tyson and the team did a fantastic job for us. We had an aluminum railing and hand rails done for our deck. Great craftsmanship and job well done. By far better than your typical hardware store bolt together, universal stuff at a reasonable price. Highly recommend them.

My previous 1 star review just became 5 stars! Beware of Stuart Henderson acting as though he represents Colonial Railings - he does not. Stuart was once but is no longer affiliated, and he also DBA Vancouver Island Vinyl Sundecks. Stuart earned a one star review for leaving a leaky deck which broke Code and not returning to finish the work despite persistent follow up for nine months. But when the actual management of Colonial Railings became aware of the unfinished work that Stuart had performed in their name, they were responsive, professional, and finished the work within a reasonable time. Even though the current management was neither personally responsible nor aware there had been an issue until recently. I would recommend the actual Colonial Railings under the new management without hesitation, and will use them myself the next time I need work done.

Excellent repair shop

Honest and hard working landscaping company.

One of the best marinas on the coast. Great store with cold beer and wine, basic groceries, fishing tackle etc. Staff are very helpful and the marina is very clean and well maintained.
