I Had Enercare Out At My House For 3 Days 6 Hours Each Day...The Guy From Enercare Looked Like He’s Never Seen A Furnace Before! He Messed Up Everything!!!! So I Called Alma Mechanical And They Sent Such A Polite/Knowledgeable Technician And He Fixed Everything So Fast!!! Want It Done Right??? Call Alma Mechanical!!!

To start off, I have been an electrician for 30 years. I currently own a home in Whitby that James Electric has wired. Wow what a bunch of hacks. I have changed my switches and plugs only to find wires that have been stripped with a utility knife and then patched with tape because the knife slipped and scraped off more insulation than needed to jam into the back of the device. Kitchen exhaust fans and vanity lights have no connectors on them, the feeds are just sticking through the knockouts. I would not be surprised to hear about a James Electric house burning down. I had to put 1 star because I could not post with negative.

Excellent service provided by Terry. He was very accommodating given the urgency of the electrical issue at hand. He also suggested and provided some updates to our system.

As an ex-employee moved onto more honourable things, I'd like to inform anybody who is thinking about having work done by or working for G T Services Ltd. I'm not disgruntled by any means as I actually am being paid fairly for the work I do now and just want to publically warn about the moneypit you'll enter using this old man to get things done in your facilities. I've witnessed him destroy a 500 dollar heater cable and blame it on the customer charging them two e for one repair instead of taking ownership for his mistake. I was made to wear a harness that was rated for a 250+ pound man being 160 pounds, if you've taken fall arrest training you'd know that would snap my back in 20 places were I to fall in an improper rates harness. He will tell you that he will be there tomorrow and brush you off time and time again. I have lots of information regarding the improper practice of GT Services including pictures and video. If you want a recommendation to an honourable company that does work by the book and isn't looking to collect paychecks for things they aren't experienced in (the man who did service work left them after 15 yrs because they wanted him to pay his own commute on 407 from Newcastle to GTA every day) 3 1/2 + hours a day unpaid for being asked to paid for 407 bill to make them money. Very shady company. Call gates and doors , candoor overhead doors, or anywhere of reputation. The "lower" price will only appear on first meeting with George. If he sees a heater cable he'll snip it when fixing something else on another door to guarantee you'll need more work done. Has told employee he kept for 2 months to take freezer jacket and just wear it but don't wear it when we come back to this specific location of versacold. and any supplies out of maintenance from places we've worked and stolen them when we go, ball bearings, door specific parts, and whatever he thinks would look good in his home workshop that he doesn't even know how to use. Watched him hurt himself and have temper tantrums using improper lifting techniques and then complain about his back for the next month legitimately playing solitaire on his phone while I worked thru the jobs.
