Electricians

Good people

I have known Terry Shortt for years, I have no complaints regarding Terry's service. He is my most trusted Electrician. Terry is courteous, kind, humble, and professional. I recommend calling Terry for all of your electrical needs.

Had a triplex wired 2 years ago and still cursing this experience. We had absolutely mediocre service, untimely or not getting back to our calls at all. This was a big job, thousands of dollars spent and we weren't treated with much respect. I'm using basic household items in my home and blowing breakers constantly. If you want the job done at the bare minimum code in your home then this company is for you. Otherwise I suggest you go somewhere else.

Amazing customer service. Very friendly and helpful, especially with an indecisive person like me. Also had kids toys for my toddler to keep him busy. Thank you!

On January 25, 2018, ,Canadian Industrial Services Electrical Contractors, was hired to install two fluorescent light fixtures, a 4 ft fixture in the basement (I supplied the newly purchased fixture & fluorescent bulbs) & a 3 ft fixture over the kitchen sink which had to be purchased from Gilmours Home Hardware which is located less than 5 minutes away. I already had a new 3 ft fluorescent bulb which I told the electrician to use. The original fixtures had to be removed from the ceilings. I was appalled when I received the invoice ($241.68+$31.42 tax =$273.11) I was charged 3 hours for labour plus recharged for the 3 ft fluorescent bulb as well as nickeled & dimed for screws, anchors, marrettes, connector. When I complained The receptionist said that she told me upfront that I would be charged for two electricians which was never mentioned. If I had known what they would charge to install the two fixtures I would never have hired Canadian Industrial Services. In my opinion this is not a Senior Friendly business, they overcharged, treated me rudely when I enquired as to why installing two simple fixtures required Two electricians, did not attempt to readjust the invoice & charged me for my own fluorescent bulb which they said they didn’t use but is missing. I would not recommend Canadian Industrial Services, Electrical Contractors, for any private home electrical service.

We just had a major renovation done to our home and SLD ELECTRIC did all our re-wiring of the century part of our home and wired the new addition. It was a major job. We are very pleased with the results and extremely pleased the professionalism of Stefan and his crew, especially Colton and Dalton

Good quality work, personable technicians

All I can say is that they have excellent and trustworthy service that you can rely on. I called them to book an appointment and Shari was very nice and scheduled it for me, she even called me when there was an early opening in the schedule and if I was available for it but I wasn't. She followed up if I was available on the schedule we booked. The electrician, Craig, came at the exact time they said he would be that was around 0800-0830. I had a wiring issue with some potlights in the basement. He explained to me what he was doing as I told him that I was unknowledgeable about electrical things and he made sure there was nothing wrong with the wiring. He told me what the issue was and replaced it. Even offered to clean up the floor where a little mess was made from the repairs. This is one company you can certainly trust and rely on for your electrical needs.
