We woke up to find our lights dimmed and many of our appliances dead - including furnace (brrrrr!). Called Benoit Electric and described the problem to the lady who answered. She said it sounded like something might have been wrong with the powerline's connection to the house, and suggested I call NS Power, even gave me their customer service number.
She was correct, and saved us the cost of an unecessary service call. Good to know there are still companies like this!
