Kelsey Smart has been my financial advisor for over 5 years. During this time I have has professional advice and support that has helped me make good choices with my RRSP and other financial planning. While, in theory at least, I could manage my portfolio without help, I'm convinced that by working with Kelsey I have experienced a higher growth in my portfolio. I value the personal approach that Kelsey takes with her clients and feel that she has my best interests in mind when recommending different financial planning scenarios and approaches. I'm a satisfied customer!

Do you like high fees, low service, and pure commission sales staff? I lost a lot of money with this company. Bad investments, and poor advice. When i transferred out my money i paid out over $30,000 in transfer fees just for the privilege to leave an over priced under performer. They only sell their expensive and limited product shelf. Terrible rates on their GIC's. On top of that, they tried to sell me and my wife a $500 per month insurance plan because we are going to die and get cancer or hit by a bus. If they come knocking at your door, or cold call you, or harass you at a shopping mall or trade show, run! These are pure salesmen that will scare, manipulate, and weasel their way into your front door. Find a professional with proper financial advisory designations (CFP plus a business or commerce degree) and at least 10 years in the business. Instead of their someone who has been to a two week training boot camp to learn about sales and marketing tactics. Wish i would have known this 5 years ago, but i hope my bad experience can save u the grief!

I was offered financial education and job for $150 + tax. I have paid. I got e-mail with an indication that I will have to pay again for the examination and future job after I pass the exams... no indication how much... On my 1st lesson I got shit like 'tell me about your family, your goals, I can tell you about mine' -- kindergarten shortly. For my question about where is promised education I've paid for, I got strong stream of humiliations, attack really aggressive, and demand to change my current job schedule which meant really to quit my current job... I asked about written study materials to try to hold that myself, as I can not quit my job without getting a new and better one right away. They invited me again and again for speaking... today they told me I have to pay 200 more if I want the study materials... Can anyone tell why all costs and schedule are hidden on the 1st interview? Money for promised education they took, they don,t return.
