Monarch Dunes features the award-winning Old Course. This championship course will ensure every aspect of your game is suitably examined. Although housing lines several holes, sometimes on both sides, enough of the natural habitat of windswept dunes, eucalyptus trees, coastal vistas and amber-coloured hillsides has been retained to create a visually attractive golf course.

Friendly staff and well maintained

I've been working on my game with Central Coast Academy for more than a year. I started with an instructor who suddenly left the facility. Then, by chance, I met and started to work with Peter Wolke. My game has improved dramatically. I've been hacking away for more than 60 years and Peter has made more improvement in a few months than any other instructor I've had over the years. He doesn't spend all the time talking or showing me with his swing how it is done. He gives suggestions, lets you try, fine tunes them, and then after the lesson sends you a written recap. Last time he videoed my swing and not only sent it to me but also sent a link to software that lets me review it in slow motion. He's likeable, easy going, not one of those know-it-all teachers who make you feel you are privileged to be in his presence. I recommend him highly and particularly for golfers who might avoid a lesson because of the kind of teacher I just described.
