Laid out by highly acclaimed course architect Pete Dye, the excellently presented Carmel Valley Ranch first takes you on a picturesque tour of the valley floor. Although not overly long at just over 6100 yards from the back tees, and inevitably containing several short par-4s, Carmel Valley Ranch is an enjoyable and scenic course, one that lays down a worthy challenge to golfers of all abilities.

Awesome place to go, very friendly people that work there. Loads of things to do. Great food.

Monterey pines is litterally the best deal for golfers in Monterey. Why pay the big guys outrageous prices when you can play a very decent course for half the price?? Seems like a no brainier to me. In all seriousness, though, for the price you pay, you get so much. Course upkeep is superb. Some holes feature nice views of the bay. Beer is cheap. Golfers and staff are super nice. What more could you ask for? I would say the only con about this place is that the course isn't very challenging. It's pretty flat and open; however on the flip side, it is very walkable. Happy golfing!

The beautiful grounds are well maintained and even though it is a golf course you don't always get that vibe on the Hyatt campus. Exotic flowers bloom, greenery abounds, and the rooms are spacious. The cafe near the check in offers good food, an assortment of wines, and excellent staff.

Wet ground stay on main walk trail. 1st baseball diamond infield ok out field wet 2nd diamond totally yuck. Skateboard part of park fine. Discgolf makes it a bit more challenging.

Here I am responding to SP Golf Course although the park itself is quite nice & the ocean walks are great. The Golf Course is dated but a local senior can play 18 holes for $18, maybe $19. It is a long course and great exercise & in good shape, not great. The 4 holes on the east side of #1 have temporary greens . . . A challenge! Beautiful view and friendly squirrels!

The putt putt course is a blast, especially using the 3D glasses! We had a blast "going down the cali coast." My little cousins and family had a blast playing the arcade games as well.

Located in a magical spot in Carmel . Slightly off the beaten path. If visiting Carmel. Dine at Edgar's Restaurant, open to the public, Super high quality cuisine at a moderate price. Lovely setting in Shangri-La type beauty. Recommended!
