The course is in fabulous shape

They say if you can play this golf course...you can play anywhere. Featuring 9 beautifully manicured holes and greens, that are always excellently maintained, the views from virtually every vantage point are magnificent and breathtaking. The rolling terrain of the Haileybury Golf Course in tandem with its flowing streams and mainly unobtrusive pond allows for a wide array of shot and club options and choices. Walk it or take a cart...either way it's a terrific club for a rewarding round of golf. During the week there is seldom a wait in terms of playing immediately. The members and staff are particularly friendly and one is made to feel at home every step of the way. Couple this with a choice of inexpensive lodgings within 5 minutes of the first tee, various restaurants and bars close by, an additional 18 hole golfing option in the north end of the city, namely the former town of New Liskeard, plus the 87 mile long Lake Temiskaming and the city of Temiskaming Shores is a golfing getaway dream come true. Over and above the actual golfing experience this is a well above average place for golfers to spend some quality vacation time with friends or...even better... with the entire family. [So bring your boat....because if you head south down the lake there is yet another great golf course over in Ville Marie, Quebec.] They'll leave a golf cart for you at the dock if you book ahead. Another thing... ... ...it's seldom too hot/too humid to play in Haileybury. That's key for anyone with breathing issues. Oh...and the weather is better. The rain often cuts across Wabi Bay and follows south-east over to Quebec thus missing the H.G.C. completely. [Don't forget your camera. Take a picture of Rick Willett -) ]

Only Members, or Guests. Clubhouse minimal. Golf Course brought up to nice condition.

Got rained out and went to the bar.... French Fry's saved my life. Had a hang over that was killing me and they did the trick
