Rarely do I give 1 star reviews. I have a full story but won't post it as he's already threatened my family with legal action once. Long story short, there are wayyyyyyyyyy better lawyers to use in Woodstock.

If you are looking for a family law lawyer to assist you in a Motion to Change, do not contact Carey Speirs. He acted for my daughter in a very contentious custody and access issue that took almost four years to complete. He drew up the final agreement through 16 hours of mediation which was court ordered. His CLIENT IS NOW IN A POSITION that she needs to make a motion to change child support - and he has taken the position that he does not wish to move forward on her behalf. A considerable amount of money was paid to him initially - and he could not finalize the agreement because the Applicant did not pay his lawyers bill and Mr. Speirs left his own client hanging in limbo to finalize the agreement on her own. He is a LAZY LAWYER, has not demonstrated a commitment to his client, I would suggest that if you are looking for a family lawyer DO NOT go to Mr. Speirs, he will not serve your best interests, he certainly does not think "outside the box" in family law matters. His receptionist Ashley is particularly arrogant and is not client focused,nor is Mr.Speirs. Check google reviews -- I wish I add before retaining him - His review if "1" and that should tell you something. I would rate him at 0

Never returns calls or faxes and never forwarded our real estate paperwork when we purchased our home. Now phones are disconnected and we are left with no idea what to do or where he has gone. Terrible lawyer

It is a excellent system for a small issue I had and they could not have been more useful. I will definitely come back if the need comes up. Good previous designed client services.

We did not receive our final payout on our closing date as we were supposed to. We were treated very rudely by the Colborne staff. Mr. Thompson himself is wonderful but staff was rude. We lost our entire furniture delivery and were left 4 days after closing before even a possibility of payment. Would never recommend the Colborne office to anyone.

This is the man who will point you in the right direction and never steer you wrong.
