Nicky Reid is a brilliant and caring lawyer. She was an unremitting advocate for my children and was determined that a fair settlement be reached so that my kids and I would be okay. I especially appreciate her integrity and her reasoned approach to negotiations; Nicky was fastidious in making sure all presented facts were accurate and proposals were sensible. I initially chose Nicky because she was the only lawyer I found who could easily decipher the corporate tax information I presented to her. She is meticulously thorough, detail-oriented and has an amazing recall of facts. Nicky is willing to go above and beyond to help her clients. When I was determined to reach a mediated settlement out of court, she worked hard to make that happen. Then, when I was unexpectedly taken to court a year later, she graciously took on my file despite a full caseload, working tirelessly through her weekends to prepare. In the courtroom she is a formidable and talented force. She was so well prepared, articulate and effective in the presentation of my case that she quickly won on all counts, including court costs from the opposition. Joel was extremely helpful in two separate transactions where he reviewed employment contracts for me. He provided extensive detail to ensure I had all the right information to make an informed decision. Even if his day was booked, he always carved out time to hop on the phone and answer questions for me along the way. My husband and I use Joel exclusively and highly recommend him to friends and family. I value his expertise and will continue to seek his counsel in all employee contract reviews.

This is a very incompetent company. I had to call them to keep my closing on track at least once every step. I called three times before getting the payment information, they printed the legal sized signing documents on regular paper which meant we had to print, sign, and scan the documents again ourselves, and I had to call multiple times to remind them to pick up the original documents. If it were left to them, we would have had to push out our close date. I’d highly suggest using a competent company when you’re dealing with a half a million dollar purchase; don’t use Lawyers Title.

Roger Batchelor did a FANTASTIC job on my custody trial. We won ...and we won so thoroughly my ex was even ordered to pay court costs ...which is almost unheard of to get! Roger was amazing questioning the witnesses and was very prepared for the trial. This was a legal aid case and Roger put in at least double the hours he was paid for to prepare for the trial. I am so grateful for his hard work on the trial and his ongoing practical legal advice.
