The furniture selection is great and stylish but they wanted to slam me with the most insane return/ exchange policy fees ... so I ended up with keeping the same peice that I am not 100% happy with so I avoide 40% re-stocking fees!!! That is not acceptable

I was doing renovation in my house and was looking for Lighting Stores and found Chandelier Toronto on Google. I got a good deal on all my indoor and out door lights specially chandeliers. worth to check out their outlet section.

Wow, i have had Oasis Irrigation, and owner Jeff Oldham spec and install lighting at our new cottage, they have done my two previous houses and my fathers place over the past 15years, well once again they have gone above and beyond my expectations. even my neighbour across the lake sent me a picture of how gorgeous it is.. If your looking for the best in the business, straight shooter, talk to Tom or Jeff. These guys know what they are doing.

Not usually a fan of imported products. Especially electrical but these guy have very good quality leds. And there customer service was great. One of the ladies even took the time to teach me how to solder the leds. I also usually get annoyed when someone working in a retail store can’t speak English. But even though there was a huge language barrier the lady couldn’t speak one word of English. I still received amazing customer service. Id recommend anyone that need leds to go there. I work and live on the opposite end of gta and still drive all the way there when i need lights for a job. And I never take the time to write a review. BUT THE ARE JUST THAT GOOD.

Small showroom with busy staff. I think on-line sales are handled under a different name or by an associated company.

closing hour states 6pm but when you get there at 5:45, all lights are closed and no more employee cars parked..what kind of business is that??

First off ,,, the lady who was helping me was very nice. But. I wanted a gallon of orange rust paint,,,, Not in stock.... fine . So ,,, yes order it in,,, I will come back... . Oh,, minimum of 2 gallons to order in. (Who needs 2 gallons of orange paint ) ??? . Oh. Solution! Order two smaller cans,,, Slightly more money,,, but,,, whatever . When will be in,,,,, Oh,,,, should be in in a day and a half.. we will call . 3 days later........ no call . I have gone elsewhere..... great ordering policy and follow through,,,, Your brick and mortar is quickly becoming obsolete,,, and while I agree it’s not all your fault,,,, you certainly aren’t helping the matter..

It's an interesting place, a little cramped but good quality wood.

Better selection and much friendlier service than other places in town, much prefer this place over the other “lumber store”.

Great staff. They are friendly, helpful and always take time to try to find you what you need.

If I could leave no stars I would. The reason is this: Sills decked out there store with Christmas decorations using Van Bakel Electrical and Plumbing on December 19th, 2017. They were comfortable opening their facilities after hours to accomplish this. This is why. They proceeded to do the work illegally and risked the life of the worker. Without barricading the sidewalk, and using a forkllift, they lifted the worker in a tote skid. A tote skid is not a personnel lifting device and contains none of the engineered safety required by law. Every worker trained to use a forklift knows this is unsafe, illegal, and deadly. In fact, every fireman should be well aware of this as well. If you think the Sills name represents family and public safety, think again. Their actions as a willing participant of this highly dangerous and illegal activity speaks the truth. They undermine the safety culture of this community, and sustain an environment where the next generation of youth looking to persue a trade are put in a dilemma where they must choose between safety and a job. There are so many rural children who are eager to sign up for an apprenticeship, and few apprenticeships to be had. Many of our local contractors know this and hire labourers to do skilled trade work without signing them up as an apprentice. If the worker speaks up for their safety, carrot on a stick hope for an apprenticeship vanishes. Then the contractor applies for another government grant to subsidize their 'new' job opening for the next eager unemployed worker. The Sills are a family centered around firefighting, and know risks, laws, and I can only imagine how many hours of personal safety training their family members have received. Their decision to hire workers after hours when the ministry of labour wont be about, and to allow them to do dangerous illegal work, speaks volumes. Cutting corners is playing the odds. You cant win every time. For Sills to put this on display on the main street in downtown Seaforth only validates the employers of trade workers to put their workers at risk to pocket more money, when there are methods to eliminate and reduce the potential for injury and death. Those employers may one day hire your family member. Do you want your child to die at work because their employer told them to work dangerously, and your child did not know any better yet? Sills wants this, as can be seen by their actions. Home Hardware, Ministry of Labour, I hope you like the pictures. I hope you have a different position than the Sills family. Merry Christmas to everyone. I hope you enjoy some time with your family more than the lights on the front of Sills Home Hardware.
