A few things struck me about the Northern Lights on Parliament hill besides how incredible it was. With several thousand people there and many hundreds of children of varying ages, even though it was late, you couldn't hear a peep. Plus, how many countries could you see such a show on the lawn of the building, open to the public in which the government conducts its business. Amazing show!

I have always been happy with the purchases I've made at the Modern Shop. Because of covid we are not able to shop in person, but I purchased some lights, by Muuto, that I originally saw on a Finnish website, I wanted to support local, and Canadian. Email communication has always been speedy. Shipment has been slow but that is because of Covid, everything is a little slower, especially international. One of the lights was broken when I went to pick it up, but they are re-ordering, and I'm looking forward to having the 2 lights installed once it arrives.

Evertime I go to the Urban Barn in the Byward Market I am always impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff are! They have lots of energy and the store has a terrific Vibe. I always make a special effort to go to this location even tho there is one much closer to my home in Stittsville.
