I went in to get a copy of a key made for my 2008 Jeep Liberty. I had already purchased GMC key blanks through the web and just needed to get them cut. The owner tried to charge me $300 to cut two keys. When I told him that was ridiculous he suddenly dropped his price to $50 per key saying he had to "look up the code". Even this seemed like an absurd amount of money to pay so I walked out. I ended up going with Pick Lock n' Key who only charged $95 total for mobile service and key programming. Definitely look elsewhere

Fast and friendly locksmith service. Needed a lock changed and was not able to do it myself. Scheduled an appointment, they arrived on time and fixed the lock without issue. I found them through an online search and called based on the good reviews. I would recommend their service to anyone.

Super easy, conveniently located at the grocery checkout. Simple, discreet solution to one of life's mundane needs. Roughly 2.5-3x the cost of going to the hardware store, but way more convenient. Thanks!

I was stuck outside my car with no keys. I had called several other locksmith companies to come and make me a new car key but no one was close by or wanted an insane price. I called Beltway locksmith and spoke to Al the technician he informed me the price before hand and told me he can be at my location within 15 minutes. Following that Al arrive promptly. And open my car and got straight to work rekeying me a brand new key for my car. It took him no time to get to work to cut and program a brand new key for my car. He showed me step-by-step process of how it was done which was very interesting. Al was super professional and super knowledgeable about the locksmith trade he put me at ease and I was on my way shortly after that we locksmith did such a great job I’m so happy that I found this reputable and trustworthy company thank you very much beltway locksmith.

I got locked out of my car, neither my fob or key worked, so I went in to get my car fob's battery replaced and Ally quickly and swiftly replaced it - when I got to my car it didn't work. My key wouldn't open my car either and I had everything in there, all I had on me was my debit card and my keys (which wouldn't open my car!). I went back and Ally let me borrow her phone and even googled my car insurance number so I could call them for roadside assistance. She patiently waited for me to get through the 20 minute phone call with my insurance and re-tested my fob to make sure the battery was working...it was, it just wasn't working on my car so it's a car issue unfortunately. Such wonderful service and above and beyond help...I couldn't have been luckier to have been close to this shop and with Ally to help me!! Thank you so much!!

I have a laundry key that my office charges $35 for one copy if you lose it! Thanks to Keyme I got three keys for $21. They gave me an additional key. Keys work perfectly. I definitely will recommend and will use again. Crazy part is that my condo association thought they were slick creating this unique key... but they forgot that technology exists.

I have encountered several locksmiths that operate with questionable ethical standards in silver spring area. They largely prey on desperate people who manage to lock themselves out of their apartments and will pay just about anything for an "emergency" locksmith to get them out of a jam.  In fact there are probably a dozen of them called "A1 Locksmith" or even "AA Locksmith" hoping to be the first entry in the phone book. Mr. Locksmith is an entirely different kind of operation. I have dealt with them on a couple of occasions now, and I have come away quite impressed.  Leo, who I presume is the owner / manager as he always answers the phone, is an honest, straightforward guy. I called him last week because the lock on our building's front door wasn't holding. I explained that I didn't really want to pay much to fix it because we have brand new doors on order that will be arriving in a few weeks, and the new doors come with new locks. So, whatever I paid to fix the short-term problem would be money wasted in the long run. He said not to worry and he offered to send a guy (Ron) to my building the next day, free of charge, to assess the situation.  He said if I didn't want to pay for any work, that was fine, but he would at least outline a few options. In fact he did, and ultimately recommended that we replace the broken lock with a new one. he suggested we by a cheap version that would last several months until the new doors arrived but not necessarily much beyond that.  Including installation, he priced the whole job at $225, which seemed perfectly reasonable to me.   Great, honest work from a good local locksmith is worth 5 stars every day of the week. Thanks, Leo!
