Lost my keys, Toyota dealership wanted to racket me, this guys made me two keys for a decent price...
Full story : I thought the dealership were there to service their clients, I guess I was wrong ! They wanted to charge me $250 for the key AND $300 for programming it. Let’s be real here, the cost of the key is probably $1 for the dealership that buy it in bulk. Let say $10 to be conservative. So they’re making over $500 profit for a 30 min job !
The locksmith I’m sure have to pay more for the part and manage to charge half and make a comfortable living... I love Toyota but this leave me a sour taste !
Next car will be a Tesla :)
