Martial Arts

Been to and signed up my son to a lot of studios. The owner and his other staff are the real deal. They don't ignore the kids and go to answer the phone every minute like some owners. During instruction they are all in, focusing on the students. They learn actual true to life defense techniques. The owner makes sure the kids learn character. That is 100%appreciated. Great place.

i been training with sifu..for a little over an year...unmatched training and results by any other form or style of martial arts...REAL KUNG FU being taught at this school...i almost feel sorry for ppl training at other schools getting..generic brand training... at luxury prices...that they will nvr be able to use in a real street fight or a self defense scenario...

Is always a very good experience..

Zak is an amazing teacher! Highly recommend to all!

Justin, Kristi, and the whole gang at JLBJJ are awesome people. Wether you have an interest in self defense, jiu jitsu competition, or just getting in shape, there is no better choice in Loudon County. This is not watered down jiu jitsu. This is a school with a top notch lineage, prifessional training schedule, and lots of mat time every class which provides one of the best workouts you will ever have. What about kids classes? They have those also, my 8 year old has been training for a year and loves it! He loves Justin and Kristi and the friendships that have developed through class. His confidence has grown along with his discipline and respect for others. Stop reading this awesome review and go sign yourself and your kids up for JLBJJ right now. They will give you a week free so you can make sure you like it first, which you will.

I dropped in when in town and was welcomed with open arms. Seph is not only a world class BJJ black belt but a top notch teacher. I would recommend this spot to all locals interested in getting involved in BJJ. Can't wait to get back in town and drop in again. Thanks for the hospitality.

As a woman, I really appreciate that Ving Tsun was created by a woman, was named after a woman, and is an ideal type of martial art for women to train. I had studied two other types of martial arts before coming to this school, and never felt like I could realistically use the stuff I learned to defend myself. I have been studying at Moy Yat Ving Tsun Kunf Fu for six years and definitely feel confident that I could use what I have learned here in a self defense situation. It is all practical, efficient, and effective. If you are looking for practical self defense, this is the place.

This is Sifu Moses. I have been teaching Ving Tsun for over 10 years now. We are excited to be here and are looking for many more years to come. Come on down and experience real Kung Fu with us at River City Kung Fu.

I did a walk in at East-West Wing Chun Kung Fu and the students were very welcoming and supportive through the one and a half hour class. Sifu John Kang is very skilled and managed to interact with each student throughout the evening. Very enjoyable and very instructive. I would recommend them.
