Highly recommend this karate school!!! Our daughter is 6 and loves going to class! We had her birthday party here too and it was her favorite birthday party yet! Instructors are amazing! They are dedicated to teaching everyone the skills they need, not only for karate but for life as well! Thank you AFK for your dedication and hard work!!!

We started with Frank and Michelle in 2005, right after we moved to Virginia. Our son had been taking classes in NY and we wanted for him to have the consistency. Little did we know that he would be diagnosed as being on the autism spectrum, having adhd, and anxiety. Frank has taken the time to encourage my son and help him improve his focus so that he has completed the children's classes and is now a purple belt in the adult class. Not only that, but he has also been teaching my daughter for several years as well, and she has progressed through the children's classes and is currently a green belt in the adult class. Both children were blessed (cursed) with my temper, and Frank has worked diligently with them to get it under control so that they no longer argue over the littlest thing and are able to calm themselves down with little effort. Both are growing stronger, more disciplined, and more focused - something that is paying off in school since both are maintaining a 3.8 GPA or better.

This place is the best! Once you walk into their dojo, everyone is quick to welcome you. The place is big and able to work with a various number of students. The instructor and his helpers are always there to help, even to stay late. I don't want to kill your experience, go check him out...

"Try it. Just try it once and let me know how you like it." My 7 year old, failure fearing, socially awkward son walked onto the mat unsure of what he was getting himself into. An hour later he walked off drenched with as much pride on his face as sweat on his shirt. His smile was thin, his eyes squinted slightly and his hair soaked. 3 months later and he is still somewhat nervous walking onto the mat. Joel and his family have done an incredible job of creating a safe learning environment for the kids. He has high expectations and allows the kids to reach those goals at their own pace and in their own way while maintaining order and safety. Joel, Lexi and the assistant instructors keep the kids engaged, challenged and working toward their goals for the entire class. My son walks in unsure of what he is getting into, and walks out sure of his accomplishments. Thanks Venom Winchester, we are happy that we found you.

Best MMA studio around. Whatever level you are entering in. Joe is the best at technique, what he has done for my son in wrestling is incredible. Everyone is so respectful and willing to teach anyone. By far the best, we will never go anywhere else!!!!!!

Very helpful instruction for beginners who are always welcome.

My daughter started at the age of 5. She was very shy and Tiger Den has helped to build her confidence and self-esteem. She is now a 3rd Degree Black Belt and is wanting to be a Master in the future. I would highly recommend all the Tiger Den programs.

Best TKD school anywhere! Master Kim is brilliant!

Great trainers, very knowledgeable.

Exceptional instruction and great atmosphere. You are guaranteed to learn and improve and can't go wrong with this gym.
