Sensei Ross teaches Eishin Ryu iaido (Japanese sword) in addition to Shito-Ryu karate. I've studied iaido with him for going on five years now. His class is a nice balance between presentation aesthetics and practical application. If you're looking for a iaido instructor in the Lake Stevens area I would recommend checking out his class.

If your looking for a place to train in the Lake Stevens area their is no better place than Electric North. High level instruction, large mat space, and overall a great training atmosphere.

I want to praise the masters at NW Sport Taekwondo. My son has ADHD and he enjoys the direction and positive challenges of Taekwondo. Master Colvert and Criswell spend time and work well with kids that need extra help with direction and focus.

This karate dojo is one-of-a-kind! In the spirit of keeping Silverlake to the roots this dojo has complimented the neighborhood in more ways then one. Providing families abroad a location to get active, grow both physically and mentally and also helps to keep our younger generations off the street! By promoting fun, physical and character building opportunities in both a fun and competitive environment.

My son, now 10, began at Park's when he was 6 and they were at their 38th St location in Tacoma. We began there because it was close--very close, and he wasn't limited to the number of classes he could take--at one point doing 10+ hours a week and loving it. But slowly things began to change...first there were limitations placed on classes, then there were increases in cost. But that all paled in comparison to what we saw as the increasing lack of discipline and lack of respect for the parents on the part of the main instructor. We left about 2 years ago after finding a fantastic school in Lakewood where he's had a greater breadth and depth of instruction from instructors that we really like and respect. He also earned his WTF black belt last year and is on the road to his 2nd degree!

Joel is an awesome personal coach and adapted his method of teaching to my level of experience. The gym is full of other dedicated members, who I enjoyed working with in a Muay Thai class. Hillary's welcome went above and beyond. I know where I'll be going whenever I am in Spokane!
