I did a walk in for a pedicure. No discussion of what I wanted. Did a basic one and said I was done. Pretty unfriendly. I think since I was an older male they didn’t want to deal with me.

My favorite neighborhood nail salon!! Never have to wait. My nails always look great, the staff is really friendly and always offer something to drink. Highly recommend this place.

Let’s just say I have moved away and I book an appointment here anytime I am in SF, even if just for a few hours. I am a true perfectionist when it comes to paying for a mani/pedi, and in my 15 years of getting my nails done at countless salons and spas, SF nail bar is the BEST. I truly feel sad when I have to get my nails done somewhere else because it never compares. They have the best service and do the best job. The salon is slightly hidden so you have to be looking for it, but I would say is one of the city’s best kept secrets.

So expensive and they try pushing the ridiculous “premium pedicures” on you. My doctor called while I was getting a pedicure and I was talking to her and the owner asked me to keep my voice down. I was mortified because I’m always very away and conscious of people around me and my volume on phone calls. There was only one other customer in the place at the time too.

I paid $50 for a plain pedicure with a basic design. Not worth your money or time. Kelly didn't even want to listen to me about the design I wanted. Very unprofessional and rude. I don't recommend this place. Not going back!

Asked for my hands to be cleaned up (no polish of any kind though) and was still charged for a full mani, which was somewhat illogical to me. That said, they still did a great job!

Always a fabulous mani that really lasts. Sunshine Nails is very clean and the ladies are friendly and give excellent customer service.

I stumbled onto this salon while visiting my sister in Sausalito. What a local gem! The owner started my pedicure, another spent time taking great care of my feet, and both helped me choose a beautiful color for my no chip. I learned a lot about the history of Asians and their multi generational history as 3 generations of one family interacted with employees and other customers. My pedi concluded with a hot stone massage by the owner, and I received one of the best pedis of my life, all less expensive than suburban Chicago!

Absolute best place to get your nails done in the city. Staff is so friendly, the tools are clean and they have a million colors to choose from (regular, gel and powder). I will be coming back!!

I wish I had looked at the reviews it would have saved me an awful mani. I used to go here before the pandemic and it used to be great, I couldn't wait to get my nails done after all this long. Instead I walked away with exactly what reviewers have said (streaky polish, painful cuticles since my skin was pinched, polish is painted over the nail bed onto the skin...) I even stopped the manicurist to point out flaws in her work and asked to change the color since I thought it was the color. Instead, someone else came and added another coat to fix it (sucks cause now I just have very thick gel on the edges of my nails) I showed my mom and husband and they both confirmed it looks like an amateur did it, not that I doubted that in the first place. So disappointed and it's certainly not cheap 😠... I did appreciate how nice everyone was but give me gorgeous nails over niceness please.

This is by far the best nail salon out there. I highly recommend it. Maylin's work is exceptional, the salon is clean with a great selection of nail colors, and the service is outstanding.
