Painters

Bad customer service!! This painting contractor was recommended by Sherwin-Williams in San Marcos back in Feb 2014. Armando Puentes wrote us a bid for 4200.00, a bit high but we needed two coats of paint. He agreed and he was good enough to charge us 4000.00 (he offered and I did not negotiate.) There were a few things that they did not complete, ie, all the trim, but came out and completed that himself, but he did not do the trim on the bay, dining room exterior. But we were ok, until I saw streaking on over the bay area of the home earlier this March 2017. I contacted Mr. Puentes and inquired about his workmanship or paint guarantee. He didn't respond to the question but said he could come out the follow Tuesday. I never heard from him most of that day, but managed to get hold of him that afternoon and we agreed he would come Thursday. I called him at least 4-5 times, always his voice mail. The last message I left him was rather terse and then called Sherwin-Williams. They indicated that they only recommend these contractors, which I already knew, but when I asked how they find them and if they do background checks which they do not. A Sherman-Williams rep will inspect the paint at the earliest, late next week, 3/31/2017. At least they should be able to tell me if its workmanship issue or paint. We'll see. But I folks want a small business paint contractor who doesn't have a lot of overhead, I would never recommend this guy because he's not reliable!

Nice people. Great work. Awesome service.

Fast, knowledgable service

After six months of dealing with a not so nice contractor I was introduced to Rick Nagel and I could not be happier. I am soooo pleased with him and his crew. He didn't just reconstruct my house, he created a whole new beautiful home! He was always a phone call away if I had any questions and his crew was very professional and nice. The work they did is amazing. I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity to not only have him and his crew fix our home but also to have met him. I will defiantly have them back in the near future to do some more work. Rick you truly are my Angel. Thank you so much for everything.

Dan is always so friendly and helpful.
