When he showed up late for the quote due to car trouble I should have know to say no thanks. He would not show up to work, kept asking for more money after we agreed on a price and deposit. He would not answer my calls to find out if he was coming. I tried everything in my power to keep him working, even bought him tools because the ones he had he said were damaged by the guy that he brought to help him one day. Gave him one last chance to show up next morning. He didn’t. I fired him and couldn’t even get him to come pick up his tools. My basements a mess, mud on everything from doors to walls to bathroom tile. I have spent hours cleaning my floor. I’ve had another company come in for a quote and was told the tape that is bubbled on ceiling will have to be cut out and corner bead needs to be replaced as it’s to far damaged and bent to be fixed. I was told that the job is maybe 30% done and not done right. I paid him for half the job already. The job is not even half done and he wants full payment. I would recommend finding someone else to do the job. I tried to drop his tools off for him and he wouldn’t even give me his address. I see now I’m not the only one with complaints. Should have checked his references.

Dissatisfied, upset, angry! We are still waiting to have doors returned to us. Unfinished work i.e. they said they would create doors that they did not. We have missing doors. The handles are starting to fall off because they weren't fitted properly. Handles were crooked. Very frustrating as they won't return calls or messages. Small claims court? Better business bureau? How do you deal with people like this? If we could physically go and pick up the doors at least it would look sort of finished :( They also took cash for doing another job and didn't do it!!! So much for trying to do the economical, environmental right thing!

This company was hired to paint an empty main floor apartment for rent. When they arrived at the job (end of October) they turned off the heat and turned on the central air freezing out the tenant who was in the basement unit working from home. They also proceeded to crank their music up super loud and as I said before the basement tenant works from home. They finished the job which was done ok but they spilled white paint all over the wood front deck and tried to wipe it up but it just smeared all over it. They left an oversized garbage bag of garbage in the basement tenants outside garbage pail thus preventing the tenant from being able to put they're garbage from the week into it. They also left cigarette butts on the window sill outside. Very unprofessional!!

I had dealt with Nathan Van Heyst with respect to some commercial painting. Very honest, straightforward and easy to deal with. Very professional and pleased with my experience.

Had a great experience with John and his team, who did a wallpaper removal and repaint in our kitchen. They were great to work with and did a really nice job. Would definitely work with them again!

My wife and I decided to sell our new build house and move into a older established area. We bought a great house but it really needed work in the patching and painting department including Walls, ceilings, doors, window frames, and trim. Bernie pretty much painted our whole house. His work was nothing short of perfect. He has a great eye for detail and works very quickly. People that visit our house can not get over the perfect lines between the walls, ceilings and trim. I highly recommend Bernie's services if you are looking to make some changes to your house. The work comes with high quality and professionalism and at a great price!
