Paving Contractors

I'm new here in Canada and Devlin Construction Ltd. help me to practice my profession and now I'm one of there estimator. They deal with their employees as a family member. Hope that they can help more immigrants.

Had one of their drivers this morning weaving in and out of traffic, and not using his blinker. Very bad road conditions as well. And two of the break lights were out. Very poor driver. Might want to choose your employees a little bit wiser, they are driving around with your name on it.

I wouldn't ever recommend anyone work here. There equipment is sub par at best and that's the way they wanna keep it and don't care about if there employees get hurt. In there words employees are a dime a dozen. They do drugs on the job site and the owners know and allow it. Horrible owners. And punctuality is the worst in the industry.

Poor workmanship, rude, and all around horrible service. I had them do my driveway and walkway. They came and did the driveway and forgot to do the walkway. I had to call and have them come out to do that. Then they went and rather than doing asphalt under the stairs, which is the correct way, he went over the concrete in the area, which should have been removed. The walkway is very bumpy and way smaller than we discussed. They did a horrible job with the asphalt driveway. I had a shovel sitting on my driveway a couple weeks after they installed it and due to the asphalt not being installed correctly and the heat, the shovel sank into the asphalt and when I pulled it out, a chunk of asphalt came with it. I called him to have him come fix these issues and he said he would be back. He came back to my house while I was away and demanded money from my wife. She paid him because she figured he was going to be doing the work right there. He went and deposited the check and has not come back to fix his work. On a personal side, him and his guys were mocking my wife while they were working. My wife asked them to do the asphalt under the stair which is the correct way of doing it, and they mocked her and told her no. Now my stair is loose and drops every time I step on it. I would recommend going with another company. The money saved was not worth it at all.
