If I could I would give it less than one star; They wanted to charge me about 300 bucks just to turn on the boiler for heating. The boiler is up to par, so there was no servicing required, I just don't know how to light the thing to get the heat on. Again, $300 to do something that takes 3 minutes???! Consumer beware, ask around to make sure you are not being ridiculously over charged!!!

Called them to schedule an evaluation. Asked them how much it would be and was trying to explain to them my situation, and the women rudely hung up on me. Tried calling them back to give them the benefit of the doubt, told the women she may have hung up on me, and she hung up on me once again. Incredibly unprofessional. Would not even bother

Mr and Mrs Li (prorprietors) are basically friendly (she more than he) towards me when I patronize their business. Their son, on the other hand, is a different story. He is cold, rude and can be a smart ass if you allow him to be. He basically has the personality of a mannequin, dull and lifeless and with his attitude, should not be communicating with customers. He needs to realize and understand that it is the customer that has allowed his family to earn a living and remain in business. Just know this, I will never set foot in S R Hardware, Inc of Rockaway Park, NY again - even if it means driving to the city - not even for a key duplication. When I have had keys made there, he charged one price and his mother charged another (higher) price.

Had to get a bathroom vanity removed and replaced with a new pedestal, sink and faucet. Sam came recommended by a friend and that recommendation was gold. He stopped by and checked the existing vanity and went over with me what was needed to be purchased. Once I picked up the new items at Home Depot, Sam came over after work during the week and quickly and efficiently removed the old and installed the new items. He cleaned up after he finished and told me to call if I had any issues. It is always nice to work with an efficient, reasonable professional, who also charges reasonable prices. I highly recommend him for any plumbing needs.
