Customer service is alive and well!! Called about a plumbing issue and rather than coming out and charging me $125.00, the woman who answered the phone gave me tips to deal with it myself. Thank you for your integrity.

One of their drivers in monterey(van #7, a younger hispanic guy) almost ran me into the opposing lanes of traffic, then flipped me off when i honked. Classy. I recieved the runaround, and then no response to repeated phone calls from management regarding my complaint, or at least, my attempts to file one. Never called back or emailed, despite being told theyd call me "right back". Makes me curious how they handle complaints about their work. Not at all reassuring or professional. Use one of the many other plumbers in the area. These guys are a joke.

We moved to Northern California this last summer and the guy who flipped the house we bought recommended Nigel. Nigel met with us within a day of our first call to him, and brought one of his guys on-site that same day to make the introduction. We have had three plumbers at our house for a variety of reasons, from small modifications to emergency situations. We are incredibly satisfied with everybody associated with the business: from the professional manner of the plumbers through to the cost of labor and the matter in which billing is handled. Once, someone was scheduled to be at our house between 11 AM and noon, due to a jam up at the previous job schedule plumber was unable to make it within the time frame. Before 1230PM another plumber from the business was at our house assessing the situation and prepping the inbound plumber for the job at hand. We are pleased to refer Nigel Mulgrew plumbing and rate them the highest rating. They even ask where to park their vehicles so as not to disturb the neighbors. Not that I ever want to have to call a plumber, but this is the business to call when you need someone promptly and capable of handling the job, even the dirtiest of jobs.

Patrick and Ricardo were great to work with. They were clear in explaining the work and costs. Work was very well done and at a reasonable price. Left the place spotless. Would call again no question.

One Star because the plumber showed up. Could not perform the service required but certainly was able to take the $250.00 to walk in the door. Very poor business ethics

Our water heater was red-tagged and shut off by PG&E, due to an old leaky gas shut off. Monterey Plumbing and Heating came by and fixed it for us, and also improved the location so we could reach the new valve more easily. No more red tag. Lots of hot water again. Good job guys.
