My daughter started here at 3 years old , now she is 5 and going into kindergarten. The amount of growth I've seen is amazing! The teachers are wonderful , the entire staff is great. I have a 3 year old son who will be starting soon as well. I also have a 16 year old who didn't get the opportunity to go to private school.. I see a huge difference looking back. Get rid of a car payment and give your child a great education , sacrifice whatever you can to get them in a private school like de sales , we are really low income but make the kids education #1 . Anyone can afford it its all about what your priorities are and what your willing to live without as far as material things.

A great public school have dealt with a few in thunder bay because of family and one of the best. great staff, amazing leaders. a real team effort. security is top notch and kids learn and play in a productive open environment. you couldn't ask for more in an inclusive situation for any child to get an education at then McKellar Park!

Went here many years ago. 5+ hours homework every night. Top notch students getting migrains from the pressure. Every boy in my room got the strap at least once, and some the girls too. I hated that school with every fibre of my being.

The university has made it a priority to engage and promote the needs and strengths of the First Nation communities in the Northwestern part of the province of Ontario. This goes a long way to opening the eyes and minds of those who attend Lakehead University.
