Private Schools

The teachers are great and honestly deserve more recognition for the students they have to deal with. The lack of funding towards this school is quite obvious and ironic, considering that it's in a rich neighbourhood. Also, my experiencwe in the Gifted Program was not fun. Non-Gifted students often bullied the Gifted students and in general refused to see us as human beings that were worthy of respect and empathy. If it weren't for that I might be sad that the program is being shut down. Also, there are not a lot of clubs to join and there aren't many intermediate teams for sports. 7.8/10 too much water.

Bad for education but has great people and equipment

We spend two weeks in Rutherford Private School. We can say that teachers here are very friendly, they were trying to do everything we need to feel ourselves comfortable at the lessons. We saw many new beautiful things here and architecture in Toronto is amazing. We learned a lot of new things about Canada and simple things at our lessons. We want to say thank you for Mr. Soheil, Mrs. Alena and Mr. Igor for our good time here. We want also say that food we had at the school was not unusual but very tasty. The best private school I've been to in the GTA. Because they have small class sizes, the classes are tailored to the individual's needs. In addition, they have one of the most experienced teachers, and have a principal and a dedicated guidance counsellor who are very knowledgeable about the university application process in both Canada and the U.S. Thanks to Merit Education, my English mark have gone up significantly in addition to other grades, and I got accepted into my dream university! Highly recommend!

Great school! Strong academic program with a nice positive atmosphere.

This Montessori school is one of the best in the town with an excellent program focusing on personal and academic development of child. The passion of Peter and Ms. Tatz is unremarkable. Thanks for putting in the effort on my daughter.

One of the teachers failed me on a major quiz just because my mom wouldn’t let me go to a walkathon cause I was sick that day. That is a stupid reason to get 0 on a science quiz, then having to do it even the teacher told me the science quiz will be 0. Thank god I left the school.

Just keeping at 3 stars. Nothing to see here.

Highly recommend school

Wonderful, welcoming and friendly staff, very supportive

Two of my kids go to RHMS and they love it. Staff are professional, passionate and well-rounded. The school has great facilities that allows the kids to learn in a well-balanced school; academics are just as important as play time. What's even better is the security of the school so I know my children are well taken care of and safe. I definitely recommend RHMS.

Greatest school in the St. Lawrence River. At this school I learned how to create algae. Thank you very much :)
