Private Schools

Because I love to dance

My kids are doing very well at this school. Students have exceeded the state average on many of the state tests. Many of the students read above grade level. The school is small which allows parents to develop personal relationships with all of the staff because they are very accessible. The principal is active. I feel that my children are very safe at this school. The school will demand that your children do homework, so if you are not willing to put in time to help your child improve then this is not the place for you. The only drawback in my eyes is that due to its size they have some difficulty with certain extracurricular activities. Usually they compensate for this by partnering with other schools like St. James or Saint Matthias.

My son had attended Enchanted Care for over a year, hadn't a problem until he was moved to the Toddler 2 class. It seemed as though, he had fun at school and the morning teachers, whom I dropped him off with were great--however, he was always coming home with multiple BITE MARKS without incident reports and also it seemed like he had a 'blow out' on a daily basis, which required a change of clothes. The blow outs never happened at home, which made me worry that he was sitting in his dirty pants for a while. There are a lot of kids enrolled in the school, I believe their student to staff ratio is not desirable. They could use more staff, yet they have a sign hanging still "Now Enrolling." When we finally decided to leave, the office staff was very petty and unprofessional about returning our deposit. We wanted to leave sooner, but we stayed the amount of time they had told us we needed to in order to receive our deposit back. Still, we have no received our share of the deposit.

Unsatisfied with public school? Want a smaller focused class size? Montessori Academy in Delran is great. If your child is bored or overwhelmed in public school, then the Montessori style of teaching might be a good fit. Children aren't tied to their desks, can learn at their own pace and our encouraged by their teachers and fellow classmates. As parents, we can't say enough how much our child has improved by leaving public school and attending Montessori Academy.

I feel like a part of my brothers &Sisters in Crist. It's like family. That I don't have .

V.C.S. is a place where children grow and thrive because they are loved and appreciated for who they are as individuals. Exceptional teachers! Extremely dedicated, intelligent, Christ-loving Head of School. This is our fifth year at V.C.S. and we have three children enrolled: one in 8th grade (Middle School Program), one in 5th grade, and one in 1st grade. Each one of our children is different and all are thriving. This school is a daily blessing to our family and an answer to prayer. Creative teaching using all modalities (visual, auditory and tactile) is present in each grade, as well as technology. Strong curriculum and excellent communication between school and parents. We highly recommend V.C.S.! Reasonable tuition for such a high quality education.
