Kensington Prep is an independent day school in Fulham for girls aged 4-11. It opened in 1873, the first school to be established in the Girls’ Day School Trust. The school moved to Fulham in 1997 and is set in over an acre of grounds with netball and tennis courts and a pond for environmental studies and has some of the best facilities of any prep school in London. The school is non-denominational. There are 290 girls – aged 4 to 11 years - in 2 balanced parallel classes of about 20 girls. The school offers traditional values combined with innovative teaching and is at the forefront of IT. It has been awarded the prestigious ICT mark for the second time and there are iPad tablets and laptops in the classroom as well as a fully-equipped IT suite. The school has also just introduced a new digital learning platform and parent portal. There is a large library at the heart of the school, state-of-the-art science lab and dedicated specialist rooms for art, design technology, music and drama.

THIS COLLEGE DONT KNOW HOW TEACH THEY ONLY KNOW HOW TO STEAL MONEY FROM THE PEOPLES IF YOU WANT SPOIL YOUR KIDDS LIFE THIS THE COLLEGE. LOT OF THING I CAN TELL ABOUT THIS COLLEGE. Redcliffe School is an excellent private school. Our 3 children have attended here for over 4 years now and they love it. If you are looking for a friendly, relaxed and happy environment in which to educate your kids, this is it.

The school was started in 1895 by Miss Lloyd and Miss Cornwall at 103A Fulham Road. At that point the school, known as the Cornwall and Lloyd School, shared premises with Dunn and Co the hatters and The Sports Motor Car Co. At some point between 1902 and 1918, the school moved to 5 Glendower Road and changed its name to Glendower School. After 2 years in Glendower Road, the school relocated once more, this time to 25 - 27 Cromwell Road. The school remained at this site from 1920 until 1939 when the Second World War forced an evacuation to Devon. Glendower moved into 87 Queen’s Gate in 1947 where it has remained with some extension and expansion until the present day.

love this school so much very inspirational, excellent ethos and great teachers!

An excellent school with a deservedly good reputation for the emphasis on a well-rounded education for all pupils rather than simply cramming them for entry to Kings College school and similar places. Somewhat puzzled by the other comment that whose author lacks confidence in the Head Teacher as Mrs Buck has TWICE achieved the highest accolade, an "Outstanding" rating by the Independent Schools Inspectorate" (ISI), which is no mean feat indeed. For those interested in the details, WCPS was inspected in 2012 and in 2017 and both ISI reports are available on the school website in the 'Information' section.

This school is DEFINATELY not the place for you to be involved with or for your children to be going to. The teachers are very harsh, and judge you mostly by « how smart you are » or your mistakes. I had a friend who went here and at age 6 she was being YELLED at for simply not finishing her homework due to family meetings. According to her mum, her and her friend were also told to CLEAN THE BATHROOMS with a member of staff/cleaner for accidentally doing something she should not have (talking when not suppose to etc..). She comments on the teachers as being « scary » which is sad-these people are suppose to be rolemodels for our kids. Don’t get me wrong-this school is accedemically successful but when your being harshly approached to learning, a child may not want to, or have no motivation. I’m not trying to hate on this school, and I do believe that all of this can be sorted out, but the issues here now are unacceptable.
