Private Schools

Our kids go to Sanderling and our overall experience has been fantastic! The teachers are great, the parent community is very close-knit and the overall experience for our kids is very, very enriching. The Waldorf philosophy is alive, well and thriving at Sanderling Waldorf School.

Great teachers.

I have nothing but the best things to say about this school. My daughter started in the toddler room early last year and now is in one of the preschool class. She's had the best teachers in every class, and she still enjoys seeing them in the hallway. The staff is always happy and smiling and looks like they love working in this school. I always see the same teachers, so their staff turnover is none. The best part is that they don't have substitute teachers, so the extra teachers they hire are always there to go into the classrooms, which makes me feel good since there's no stranger coming in if a teacher is out sick. The curriculum and outstanding learning that goes on is astonishing. I love the daily reports, pictures, vidoes detailing all the lessons and project kids worked on. This helps me stay on top of my child's advancement. Best part is the way their management keeps everyone together, and the whole school running so nicely. Mrs. Shalini is the backbone of the whole school, and the way children run to her in the hallway, or stop by her office to say goodbye shows that even they notice her admiration for the children. She always answers my questions (even on weekends). She truly has a heart of gold. Abbey and Fernando are amazing directors. They are always out and about the school making sure teachers get what they need. I applaud everyone at this school, and I am so happy my child will be a Goddard graduate next year. Also I don't know how they keep it so clean, but this is the cleanest school I've seen.

This school is fantastic for so many reasons - but simply put- your children will get a college-prep private education that is affordable (when compared to other similar schools), a solid biblical foundation (which is what they will need when they leave home) and develop friendships that will last a lifetime.

Oops I posted a review on the wrong MSO

My daughter started at Vista Christian when she was 3 years old and she is now 8 years old. She is very bright, but has always had a problem with sitting still. In pre-school she couldn't sit still in circle, couldn't keep her hands to herself and she was constantly waking up other children during nap time. As she got older these issues turned into other problems. The teachers have always been loving and supportive and have dealt with these issues amongst others in a very positive way. She has thrived at this school and has consistently tested at least 2 grades above her current level nationally. In additon, she feels loved and secure there. I can't say enough nice things about this school and the amazing staff!

This is a wonderful preschool! My son attended a preschool in La Costa last year that was much more expensive and didn't even compare. Lambs of Faith has such a warm friendly environment and the teachers really care.

Our experience with Calvary Prep Academy has been outstanding. Calvary is a Christian faith based school that has an engaged and caring staff of teachers and administrators. The curriculum is challenging and the goal is for students to master their academic learning, not to just pass through it without information retention. The high school program offers many options and opportunities for the student to plan their roadmap to college if that is their goal. There are many opportunities to get involved with the school and for students to explore their faith in daily bible studies and discussion forums. The support my student receives is solid and far above average.

EASTER 4 KIDS on April 8th 2017 @ 9AM with EASTER EGG HUNT!!! Thanks for bringing such great programs to the Greater Carlsbad CA Community. The kids cannot wait!...

Terrible!!! It's a revolving door of teachers and directors. If you are looking for stability for your kiddos than this is not the place for you. A stable, safe and loving environment is what our babies need and deserve. I do not recommend sending your kids here.
