Private Schools

We moved here to have our children attend a school that was not K-12. We are very please with Diamond Vale Elementary so far We had 1 (one) major problem with one of the staff members there recently, and when we approached the school, they were very understanding and took most of the appropriate steps (We thought) in ensuring our problems were identified. Although there were many other complaints with this one particular staff member, overall there could have been more done. We strive on education in our systems and when they are not met and some of the students are now 2 levels behind due to the lack of teaching that was done, the students are the ones that have to work extra hard, and are punished, not the staff. This individual is still teaching and hopefully they are trying more for the new students then prior. I understand every child has a different way of learning and some it comes easier then others, but when you do nothing over the course of the year except art and free time, understandably they will not achieve there goals. Most of the time this teacher would tell the kids to go figure it out on there own, do not talk to her she is busy, she qpuld havr to google the answer prior to helping the student and or asking your child to help them in assisting other kids while on field trips. My kids are there to learn and I expect them to do there part as well as the teachers. So hopefully this situation is resolved and no other students are effected in any other way. This is.not a letter to offend anyone, but rather voicing my opinion. It is the start of a new school year and again our children have gone with open minds and are enjoying this school year much more and feel more comfortable then last. If there is a.problem with a staff member, rather then discussing it amongst yourselves, please tell someone, otherwise it will go on deaf ears and the problem will continue for many years to come.

An awesome experience in these 7 days of internship... learned a lot about dismantling and assembling of car and bike engine..cleared doubts and visited industries which was good

It was a mind opening, heart warming, learning about others and most importantly learning about myself kind of experience. I started in February, and in such a short time and I have grown as a person and focused not just about my career but about life as a whole. What I've gain at Sprottshaw is priceless. The admissions advisor was amaizing. She pointed to all the right places I needed to go to for funding. The staff there is trully helpful and wants you to succeed and they are rooting for you and very welcoming. Go see them, they'll roll out the red carpet for you. At least that's how I feel they've treated me.

I've been to this place before years ago and the woman running it was an absolute hag - I know that's pretty strong language, but she actually dared to drag me into her office for a 'private conference' about a personal conversation I had a friend that was *none* of her business - I had brought the friend along to encourage them to sign up for a few classes, you can bet they changed their mind after that little incident - and if I hadn't been close to finishing courses I'd spent a few thou on, I'd have walked out myself. Fast forward several years, I'm back in town and looking for some classes, and I heard the previous woman has retired, so I think I'll try again - I mean, I did like their flexible hours and their easy to follow lessons - it's totally possible it was just a personality clash or that she was just a really terrible manager, right? I wish. I remembered how pushy they were in person, so I sent them an email from an address I use when I'm pretty sure I'm going to get spam from signing up for something, and didn't give a real phone number. All I want is the pricing on a couple of individual courses. Two days later, I get a vague email back telling me they can't just tell me their prices, they have to "work out a personalized package" for me (ie they will push you like hell to take out student loans if you can't afford it on your own). I'm not interested in a business that won't give me answers without getting me in the door first, so I didn't bother answering - and a few days later I get my first spam email. Yup, they signed me up for a mailing list they never asked me if I wanted to be on. That right there earns them a one-star rating. Everything else is just rancid icing on the spam cake.

An amazing school filled with amazing staff and students. I am glad to call this place home for my 3 children through their elementary careers.

I feel unsafe here . Some teachers are kind of unfriendly . They always seem to be unkind to my parents .

The kids in all schools are always terrible, but great teachers, and environment. The school is brand new and super super nice. Great place.
